The Student Assistant will staff the various offices under the Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs and Inclusion including: the African American Cultural Center, Multicultural Services and Programs, and Student Engagement, Leadership, and Fraternity & Sorority Life. Student Assistants will assist with projects from each office, develop program plans for the upcoming academic year, implement orientation programming and the Night in the Life of a Sycamore, and participate in Juneteenth and Pride Fest planning.
Specific Responsibilities Work Schedule
Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8am-4:30pm with select evenings in June for orientation from 6-8pm.

Job Duties
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Staff the various offices under the Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs and Inclusion including: the African American Cultural Center, Multicultural Services and Programs, and Student Engagement, Leadership, and Fraternity & Sorority Life.
Assist with office operations during open hours including: greeting visitors, sharing resources, answering phones, data entry, filing, maintenance of office space, and more.
Participate on various committees to assist with office operations, community partnerships, and delivery of services.
Assist with projects from each office.
Assist with program planning for the upcoming academic year.
Implement orientation programming and the Night in the Life of a Sycamore.
Participate in Juneteenth and Pride Fest planning.
Identify and collaborate with campus and community partners.
Other duties as assigned.
