Job Title: Structural/Site Superintendent - Multifamily Construction

Company Overview:Our client is currently seeking a highly skilled Structural/Site Superintendent with extensive experience in multifamily construction for an immediate opening in Cocoa Beach, Florida. As a pivotal member of our team, the Superintendent will play a crucial role in overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring project success, and maintaining a commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities:

1. Project Timetable: Review and commit to the project timetable and completion schedule, prioritizing tasks, addressing obstacles, and making recommendations to resolve delay issues.
2. Safety Compliance: Enforce all safety and OSHA requirements to ensure a secure working environment for all personnel on-site.
3. Communication: Communicate project status in a timely and accurate manner to all appropriate personnel, fostering effective collaboration and information flow.
4. Schedule Adherence: Ensure that all milestones and overall schedule completion dates are met without exception, implementing strategies to overcome challenges.
5. Coordination Meetings: Lead and oversee daily and weekly coordination meetings to ensure project requirements are met, fostering a collaborative working environment.
6. Subcontractor Oversight: Ensure the entire field and project team have a clear understanding of all aspects of subcontractor trade work, including means and methods, services, equipment, and vendor-supplied materials.
7. Project Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive project plan for the assigned phase of work, ensuring adherence to quality and timeline requirements.

Requirements:

1. Experience: 10-15 years of experience in multifamily construction, demonstrating expertise in various build types such as wood frame, podium, stick build, masonry, etc.
2. Civil Knowledge: Some civil knowledge required to effectively manage and coordinate construction activities.
3. Blueprint Reading: Ability to read plans and maintain the flow of progress based on project specifications.
4. Multifamily Construction Expertise: A demonstrated understanding of multifamily construction means and methods, with a working knowledge of construction techniques and trades.
5. Stamina and Drive: Possess the stamina to handle a demanding workload and the drive to meet project schedules and deadlines.
