Structural Steel Project Manager

Established Structural Steel Fabricator/Erector and Contractor seeking an Experienced Project Manager to help grow their San Diego footprint! 

Position will assist the jobsite foreman and oversee the Project Engineer to effectively manage projects-Company is located in the Temecula Area and will work on-site 2-3 days week/ visit job sites in San Diego 2-3 days/week (may start/end day in field on these days- truck and fuel card provided.)8+ years in the steel fabrication industry
Must read drawings (structural, architectural, shop drawings)
Must be able to manage and advise Detailers regarding shop drawings
Computer literate (Microsoft office, Procore, Veo & Drop box)
Tekla EPM/Power Fab experience a plus
Highly Organized and able to excel at meeting schedules under pressure
Project management experience required
Able to manage multiple projects at one time
Must be able to manage, delegate and teach their Project Engineer/Coordinator on all aspects of their projects.
Good attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies
Must have knowledge of Bluebeam applications
Current version of AutoCAD Drafting is a plus
Participate in job site meetings, kick off meetings and job walks.
Understanding structural framing and elements of a building
Assist in project close-out
Assist in the document control of various projects assigned including RFI’s, Submittals etc.
Work with Project Engineer to schedule work and fabricated items for delivery.Compensation is up to $150K + bonuses
