As a Ports & Maritime PE, you'll have the chance to work with our global multi-disciplinary team of engineers on ports and maritime projects worldwide. You'll be involved as part of the team with design, analysis, and delivery of projects ranging from local waterfront projects to large scale international port developments. The position will involve coordination and design of structural rehabilitation and retrofit projects as well as new marine structures with career development into a project management role.
Work alongside experienced engineers to perform a variety of analysis and design computations and plan creation for new structures or retrofit of existing structures
Work collaboratively with the CAD technician team
Solve engineering problems and challenges
Contribute to the preparation of engineering/analysis reports and other technically related documents
Lead project tasks or managing projects commensurate with experience and participate in client presentations and proposal efforts

Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering field from an ABET accredited university or college is required
Masters degree in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Structural Engineering is preferred
Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience as a Structural Engineer is required
Professional Engineer License (or the ability to obtain one within one year) is required
Excellent writing and communication skills (samples of writing to be provided by applicants)
Working knowledge of building codes and concrete, steel and timber design.
Experience in preparation of construction drawings and specifications
Proficiency and fundamental understanding of structural analysis programs (STAADPro preferred)
Ability to manage multiple tasks and small projects independently
Field work and construction experience preferred
Structural inspection experience (marine structure or bridge experience preferred)
