Job Title: Structural Inspector

Employment Type: Direct Hire

Location: Arlington, TX/Midlothian, TX (Hybrid/Remote)

Pay: Dependent on Experience

Position Summary:

As a Structural Inspector, you will be the company's field representative and gather documentation of existing conditions for the development of engineered repairs of deficiencies found at client locations. In this role, you may also monitor construction repairs or installation of structures and modifications resulting from the inspection findings.

Education, Experience and Skills:

• High School diploma required.

• Advanced certification, Associate degree, or Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering preferred.

• 5+ years of experience in a heavy industrial environment.

• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD required.

• AMPP (Association for Materials Protection and Performance), NACE (National Association of Corrosion Engineers), AWS (American Welding Society), API (American Petroleum Institute) certifications and/or Level II Nondestructive testing experience preferred.

• Work experience using measuring instruments (such as tape measures, calipers, micrometers, and height gages).

• Working knowledge of construction materials, methods, and processes.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

• Ability to multi-task and be highly organized for effective project planning.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
