Responsibilities
Structural Engineer who will be involved assessing the structural impact of tenant combinations on buildings, tower structures, and foundations, analyzing project goals, performing structural calculations, and modifying high-complexity projects using manual calculations, and software (such as RISA, TnxTower, O-Calc, Auto CAD) and reviewing construction drawings. Must have master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Civil Engineering, or related technical field in above job duties required. Qualifications
Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering or a related field required.
Engineer in training ("EIT") or Engineering Intern ("EI") certification preferred.
1+ years of experience in the telecommunications industry
1+ years of experience in the field of engineering
1+ years of experience with AutoCAD required
Prior experience with 2D and 3D preferred
Must have a working knowledge of structural analysis software and tower structures and design methods.
Must have a working knowledge of proper steel detailing
Must have a working knowledge of structural components and design methods.
Customer Service
Ability to work with functional groups and different level of employees throughout the MasTec Network Solutions organization to effectively and professionally achieve business results.
Ability to develop and produce structural modification drawings and be accurate and detail oriented.
Proficient in computer software programs, including AutoCAD and the Microsoft office suites
