We are currently seeking a Structural Engineer or Civil Engineer with experience in structural engineering, to join our growing practice providing multi-discipline engineering and environmental solutions to clients in the water environment and industrial sectors. Depending on candidate qualifications, this position may be located in any of our KJ office locations, with the option to work from home or hybrid.
What you'll do:
As part of our team, you will provide structural engineering consulting services. This role will involve working in a multidisciplinary team to provide structural engineering solutions for a wide variety of clients throughout the western United States including:
Municipal Agencies
Special Districts
Universities and Colleges
Corporate Campuses
Industrial Facilities
In this position you will have the opportunity to provide structural consulting services that enhance our clients' facilities, services, and budgets. Enjoy the opportunity to work in concrete, steel, wood, masonry and composite construction to deliver structural solutions for projects both large and small. Expect to use BIM tools to deliver many of these projects, and to provide clients with interactive environments to provide meaningful input on projects from the initial planning stages, through design and construction.
What you'll need:
3+ years of experience as a consulting engineer focused on structural design
Experience in the detailed design of large infrastructure projects such as pump stations, reservoirs and water and wastewater treatment facilities highly preferred
Experience serving as a discipline lead engineer in the design of structures for industrial or municipal infrastructure projects preferred
Candidates must possess a BS in civil engineering. MS preferred.
PE or SE required
Salary range in Colorado is approximately $90,000 to $140,000, depending upon experience and qualifications.
