Structural Engineer

Hire Resolve’s client is a leading Civil Engineering firm that is urgently seeking the expertise of a Structural Engineer in Denver, CO.

Responsibilities:

• Design structural systems for a variety of building types including government and mission-critical facilities, laboratories, manufacturing complexes, and historic building renovations.
• You’ll be accountable for schedule, scope, budget, and technical quality of engineering tasks and construction documents.
• You’ll lead teams through the design process and actively mentor junior staff

Requirements

• Master’s degree in civil or architectural engineering with a structural emphasis
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
• 5+ years of relevant buildings-related structural design experience
• Proficiency with structural design and analysis software (e.g., ETABS, RISA, RAM)
• Thorough knowledge of building codes and standards (e.g., IBC, ASCE) including lateral load (e.g., seismic, wind) development
• Experience with construction support services for building projects
• Desire to take independent initiative and ownership of work, and an eagerness to learn
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• United States Citizenship
