Industry you will work in:
Be involved in a project providing launch system design, construction, and integration for a U.S. Air Force Program.
Your responsibilities will be:
This role will support design development of structural and blast engineering designs
Perform formal structural calculations dealing with primarily blast loads
Development of concrete and steel structural design and drawings
Foundation design and drawings
Develop design configuration packages for configuration control, change management, and procurement
Execute to schedule requirement while maintaining a high degree of quality in work product
Your qualifications should be:
Government Active Security Clearance is preferred
B.S. Degree in Engineering (Structural or related), from an accredited university, with at least 9 years of relevant experience.
Broad knowledge of the application of Structural engineering design principles.
Experience designing seismic bracing and supports.
Design experience with Unified Facilities Criteria and the Whole Building Design Guide
Prior experience working with government agencies, preferably the Department of Defense is preferred.
Registered Structural Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the United States is preferred.
Intermediate knowledge of developing CSI (Construction Specifications Institute) MasterFormat specifications, or SpecsIntact is preferred.
