Structural Engineer

Currently hiring for Structural Engineers across NYC! These opportunities are with an Architecture + Engineering company that specializes in building design, parking structures, and restoration/rehabilitation projects!!! Description:

• Facade, Building, and Restoration inspections for projects throughout the five buroughs and occasional travel to Long Island

• Performing condition assessments, scaffolding duties, investigations, field testing, and construction observation

• Work with the team of Engineers conducting investigations, analysis of field data, structural analysis, design repair alternatives, and maintenance solutions for plazas, building envelopes, roofs, and other types of built structures

• Technical design, detailing, calculations and specification of structural repairs and new structural design on restoration projects

• Technical reports, field reports, and other collaboration with clients and the design team

• Working with the Professional Engineer on analysis of field data, structural analysis, AutoCAD draftings and detailing, and developing repair alternatives

• Train and develop under Professional Engineers learning the design and inspection of parking structures and garages

Top Skills Details:

• 2-5 Years of Experience as a Structural Engineer Preforming Facade and Restoration Inspections

• Project Experience: Parking Structures, Plazas, Building Envelopes, Roofs, and other types of Built Structures

• Experience with Retaining Walls, Structural Steel, Concrete, Masonry, and Wood Structures

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering or a related field
