Structural EIT

Hire Resolve is currently searching for a skilled Structural EIT to join a premier architectural and engineering (A/E) services firm that specializes in the global design of secure, mission-driven facilities. The position is based in Lexington, KY and/or Glen Allen, VA; Chantilly, VA; Virginia Beach, VA.

• Engineer structural systems for site and building projects, either independently on smaller projects or with guidance on larger ones.
• Research, analyze, design, and evaluate structural components like foundations, beams, and walls to meet project requirements.
• Prepare construction drawings and specifications, coordinating with design staff.
• Collaborate with project teams and clients, representing the structural department in meetings and presentations.
• Support construction activities such as submittals and RFIs. Skills needed:
• Proficiency in structural engineering, including using calculation and software tools.
• Ability to present ideas to clients through drawings and sketches.
• Coordination with project members and understanding project costs.
• Building trusted relationships, being a proactive learner, and seeking support when needed.
• Knowing own technical limitations and providing guidance to less senior staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 4 or more years of relevant experience.
• EIT required, PE preferred. Position titled "Engineer-In-Training" if PE not obtained, or "Engineer" if PE is obtained.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain security clearance.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite, CAD/BIM, and engineering software.
• Positive attitude and team player.
• Successful completion of drug and background screening.
