Bell is seeking a Structural Dynamics Engineer for analytical design support of the company's Future Vertical Lift programs. This position is based at Bell's headquarters facility in Ft. Worth, TX.

Position Responsibilities:

Conduct analysis in airframe vibration, passive vibration control and reduction, and dynamic compatibility of air vehicle components and subsystems.
Finite element analyses of components and complete airframe assemblies.
Analytical support of engineering investigations
Resolution of dynamics problems.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline is required.
Master's degree or Ph.D. is preferred.

Position Requirements:

At least 1-2 years of experience conducting dynamic analysis of aircraft structures preferably for advanced rotorcraft is preferred.
Proficiency with NASTRAN/PATRAN Pre- and Post-Processor is required.
Strong understanding of Finite Element Modeling theory is required.

The Flight Dynamics Modeling and Simulation Engineer at Bell utilizes his or her aerospace background to support the company's Aircrew Flight Simulators developed for Commercial and Military aircraft programs. This position is based at Bell's Ft. Worth, TX headquarters facility. Position Responsibilities: * Work closely with Bell's Integrated Product Teams (IPT) and act as an integral part of the overall IPT structure, working closely with customer and subcontractors. * Create and/or modify software simulation code for Aero "Physics Based" Math Models, Control law Augmentation Systems and Avionics Vehicle Management Systems. * Participate in major aircraft program milestone reviews. * Commercial aircraft work will requires working directly with FAA and EASA for Simulator Certification. * Full software lifecycle development - from requirements through to product acceptance. Education Requirements: * Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is required. Major in Aeronautical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Software Engineering is preferred. Position Requirements: * Aerospace background with focus on helicopters – ability to describe and understand flight maneuvers, read flight parameters - is required. * Experience with various MATLAB optimization algorithms and MATLAB applications is required. Conducts analyses and inspection of products and processes. Formulates conceptual designs of products, processes and systems to meet customer requirements. Senior Structures Engineer to provide expert knowledge of strength, stability, fatigue and fracture analysis of detail designs of primary and secondary structural components using both classical and finite element-based analysis methods. Primary Responsibilities: Establishes structural specifications, conducts performance tests, and plans or conducts experimental, environmental, operational, or stress tests on models or prototypes of systems or equipment to ensure quality and performance standards are met.
