Job Description

Seeking a skilled Structural Design Engineer with a strong experience in mechanical design, particularly focusing on doors including hinge and latch mechanisms. This role involves designing complex kinematic solutions in a conceptual design environment, extensive experience in space vehicle design, and mentoring engineers in structural design. The successful candidate will guide structural architecture definition through the identification and proposal of advanced technology, support design through trade studies, concept development, and interface development. Additionally, the role requires experience in CATIA part design/assembly design/surface-wireframe/composites workbench, composites primary and secondary structure design, high temp material forming, and GD&T.

This is a fully on-site position in Wichita, Kansas.

Work Environment

M-F 8-5 must be onsite to perform the work in a cleared facility.
