A Structural Analyst job in Lynn, MA is currently available at Belcan. This job is a full-time direct position with benefits. To be considered for this role, you will need Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent and three to five years of experience in aerospace analysis and design. In this job your primary responsibility of this position is structural finite element analysis for air breathing propulsion, ground vehicle, orbital, and other aerospace components and systems. You will report to a Belcan Lynn FEA Group Leader as a key member of an integrated product team to design/develop, optimize, integrate, deliver, and transition engineering designs to production. Your primary office will be at the Belcan Lynn office, and you may be required to work in a cleared environment at a local customer site.

Finite Element Analyst job duties:

  • Generate and maintain ownership of aerospace structural finite element models

  • Perform plan, model, and results reviews, internally and with the customer

  • Ensure that models are systematically checked and validated

  • Perform analysis, evaluate results, and prepare formal reports of the findings

  • Liaise with heat transfer, fluids, design engineering, drafting, and other teams

  • Maintain strong communication with the internal project management and with the client

  • Manage your own project work and oversee teams of junior analysts to achieve project success

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent

  • Three to five years of experience in aerospace system structural analysis

  • Structural finite element analysis experience using Ansys, Nastran, Optistruct, or Lsdyna

  • Proficiency in understanding technical drawings

  • Capability to assess the quality and impact of design changes in the context of a larger system

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent

  • Ten or more years in the aerospace propulsion industry

  • Existing Secret Clearance

  • Experience with highly non-linear large deflection structural finite element structural analysis

  • Experience in any of the following is highly preferred: Ansys, Nastran, Hypermesh/Optistruct, Patran, NX, Lsdyna, Femap

As Sr. Benefits Administrator, you will administer Eastern Bank's benefit programs including reviewing eligibility, processing employee changes, providing high level of customer service in resolving employee issues/questions, and working with external benefit vendors. Coordinate benefit activities, events and programs throughout the year including open enrollment, service recognition, and wellness activities. Conduct benefit plan compliance activities as directed. Act as the system expert for the Employee Hub (HCMS) benefits and absence modules. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: * Conduct ongoing administration of Eastern's benefit programs to include: * Monitor employee eligibility, and process enrollments, changes, and terminations. * Serve as point of contact to assist/coach employees with benefit related inquiries and issues ranging from routine to moderately complex in nature, and bring to resolution. Demonstrate strong customer service orientation in all interactions. * Utilize strong verbal and written communication skills to educate employees on our benefit plans. Position acts as an internal benefits subject matter expert and resource for all employees. * Ensure accuracy, quality and consistency of all benefit related data. Review administrative processes for improvements on an on-going basis. Develop preventative process solutions to address issues, and recommend action or changes as needed. * Work with external vendors to ensure high levels of service, accuracy, and compliance adherence. Review and reconcile carrier file transfers. Review, create, reconcile and process all vendor invoices prior to payment. * Present benefit programs at new hire orientation to ensure new hire employees have adequate information for making enrollment decisions. * Work with Eastern's third party administrators and Payroll team to administer, coordinate and monitor employee status changes for STD, LTD, FMLA and Workers Compensation leaves. * As the system expert for the benefits and absence modules within Eastern's Employee Hub (Oracle HCM Cloud), ensure system is configured, maintained and operating effectively and efficiently. Utilize technology to continue to improve benefit administration to be more effective, efficient and impactful. Provide on-going regular and ad-hoc reporting. * Coordinate the open enrollment process. Obtain, coordinate and/or create communication materials that are easy to use and understand by employees at all levels. Develop meeting/webinar logistics, coordinate activities with Eastern Benefits Group and all vendors. As assigned, participate in open enrollment meetings/webinars. * Coordinate, organize and plan the annual employee service recognition program and wellness programs. * Assists Benefits Manager by conducting assigned compliance processes, activities, testing and related filings such for ACA, DCAP and 401(k), etc, to ensure ongoing government and regulatory compliance. * Participate in assigned projects that may include data analysis, collaboration with other functional teams, working with vendors or clients outside the company. * Provides timely updates of issues and resolutions with manager, peers and senior management within HR. Develop and maintain excellent partnerships and working relationships with focus on payroll, HR and external vendors * Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or related Business Administration field or equivalent combination of training and experience required. Minimum of 4 years of related experience in benefits administration demonstrating continued growth in responsibilities, and proficiency with benefit software. Skills and Knowledge: * Ability to maintain integrity and confidentiality of employee data and established data systems. * Strong analytical, research, detail orientation and computer skills are essential including ability to utilize technology tools to conduct administration, review and processing of data.
