Boeing Missile and Weapon Systems is looking for highly capable Structural Analysis Engineer who will flourish in an environment of challenge and opportunity on multiple projects in the areas of Cruise Missile Systems and Direct Attack weapons. These early-career positions are located in Saint Louis, Missouri.
Performs basic structural analysis using well defined analysis tools to guide product design and verify structural integrity.
Uses analytical methods, finite element models/simulations and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance.
Supports test execution and analyzes/reports test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
Defines and documents certification and test results to substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied.
Supports in-service products by investigating failures and analyzing improvements.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience):
Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
Minimum 2 years of experience in Structural Analysis.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills & Experience):
Technical experience in an Aerospace environment.
Experience with structural analysis and sizing of metal structure.
Experience using NASTRAN/PATRAN or similar (FEM) finite element models, simulations or softwares to perform structural analysis on aircraft or space structures.
Experience in conducting verification, test, and/or data analysis.
Experience with Systems integration analysis.
Experience with Matlab, Python, C/C++, Fortran, etc.
Typical Education/ Experience:
Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 2 or more years' experience or a Master's degree with experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
