• Active Secret Clearance with an Investigation in the last 5 years or CE enrolment required*

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Will use computational methods and tools in a specialized field (strength of metallic and composite structures, finite element analysis, fatigue and damage tolerance, etc.)
• Responsible for establishing structural specifications and performing structural analysis on new designs of primary and secondary airframe structure

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher

• Experience with structural mechanics simulation software and systems stress analysis

• Experience with Airframe primary structure layout and sizing

• Experience with Hand/Excel based analysis of aerospace structures

• Must be capable of interpreting detail, assembly, and installation type drawings and models

• Knowledge of FEA tools: NASTRAN and PATRAN or HyperMesh

• Active secret clearance with an investigation in the last 5 years or CE enrolment required

• SPECIAL ACCESS PROGRAM CLEARANCE REQUIRED

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience using Altair HyperMesh as a pre-processor and TMP Vision for post-processing

• Experience with CATIA V5/3DX highly desired

• Familiarity with UNIX/LINUX operating systems

• Familiarity with Slim, Vision, and IDAT
