The Boeing Defense Space and Security, The Chinook program is seeking Structural Analysis Engineers (Associate, Mid-level or Senior) to support the Chinook cargo helicopter. Boeing supports the Chinook with a wide range of support programs that are uniquely tailored to the requirements of each customer.

The ideal candidate would be a self-starter, with good verbal and written communication skills. The ideal candidate will be able to balance the needs of the customer, both internal and external, with the time required to perform structural analysis and report writing. This position is located in Ridley Park, PA.

Position Responsibilities:

• Develops, integrates and documents structural requirements to establish the system design. Coordinates with other engineering groups to establish the product's environment.

• Guides product design and verifies structural integrity by using analytical methods, finite element models/simulations and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance.

• Develops test plans and configurations, supports test execution and analyzes/reports test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.

• Defines and documents certification and test results to substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied.

• Supports in-service products by investigating failures and analyzing improvements.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain U.S. Security Clearance, for which the U.S.

Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance Post Start isrequired.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience): (see education and experience for the levels below)

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology) chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.

• 1 or more years engineering experience

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):

• 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (level 3)

• 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (level 4)

• Structural analysis experience.

• Bachelor of science degree in mechanical, aerospace and civil.

Typical Education and Experience:

Level 2

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master).

Level 3

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Level 4

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Relocation:

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility. Basic relocation is available for internal candidates.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range for associate level: $81,600 - $110,400

Summary pay range for mid-level: $102,000 - $138,000

Summary pay range for senior level: $124,100 - $167,900
