Position Summary:

The Street Team/Mascot embodies Dunkson's spirit, serving as an ambassador for the Stockton Kings in the Stockton/San Joaquin area at both on and off-site events. This role is crucial in fostering connections with fans, events, and organizations. Street Team members are expected to possess a positive, outgoing attitude, coupled with a diligent and detail-oriented work ethic. Their primary responsibility is to cultivate interest in the Stockton Kings by creating a vibrant and inclusive environment at various events and games.

Backup Mascot Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist with game day activities, including greeting fans, engaging with the crowd, participating in theme nights, and assisting with on-court promotions.

• Support off-site events each month (e.g., special events, partnership appearances, community events, festivals) to promote the Stockton Kings.

• Maintain and care for the mascot costume.

• Engage fans at both on and off-site events.

Street Team Duties & Responsibilities:

• Act as a brand ambassador for the Stockton Kings to enhance brand awareness.

• Assist with promotional activities at Stockton Kings events, both within and outside Stockton Arena.

• Contribute to expanding the Stockton Kings' database through community engagement.

• Support the game presentation, community, and sales team on game days with Fan Experiences and Pregame activities.

• Provide a unique, memorable experience for guests with exceptional customer service.

• Ability to follow directions and work independently.

• Understand the purpose of each event and execute with professionalism.

• Perform any additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Highly motivated and energetic with outstanding non-verbal communication skills.

• Prior mascot or acting experience preferred.

• Comfortable performing in front of audiences.

• Ability to adapt quickly to changing situations.

• Enthusiastic, passionate, and reliable.

• Must have reliable transportation.

• Able to handle event setup, execution, and breakdown.

• Maintains a positive and professional attitude.

• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

• Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications:

• $15.50/hour
