ROLE OVERVIEWAs part of this transformation, our Global Communications function is growing and adapting to the new opportunities and challenges. We are currently looking to hire a Strategist Planner for our office in New York. This is a great opportunity for someone currently working in an agency or consultancy environment to make a move in-house.Working as part of our Creative team, the Strategist Planner develops and presents strategic marketing recommendations for a range of external and internal stakeholders.

Reporting to the VP of Creative, and multi-tasking over a number of projects, the role is a busy one, ensuring quality is never compromised, working with agility and responding to the business needs in a timely and efficient manner.The Strategist Planner is the foundation of any creative project providing the team with information from studying markets for relevant data. The ability to think beyond a project is also important, as the Strategist Planner must establish the strategic plan knowing the product, campaign and the target market, inside out. Ability to think strategically on a macro and micro level is essential.Once a Strategist Planner has established themselves as a reliable and integral team member, they will start to their own clear briefs, combining creativity with insightful overviews.

KEY ACTIVITIESResearching and gathering data to develop well-informed strategic plans for Global Communication programmes

Examining PMI' functions and businesses to get to know their brands and understand their key objectives

Producing cohesive and intelligent plans, briefs and presentations to bring success to campaigns

Generating original ideas with other members of the team from a blank sheet of paper

Presenting findings to Creative VP, SVP of Global Communications, senior management members and other stakeholders Identifying potential problems and troubleshooting autonomously Collaborating with all stakeholders to receive feedback and improvements to strategiesDESIRED PROFILE A proven track record in developing strategic plans agency, consultancy or brand side A good knowledge of the media and how strategy planning influences itExcellent written and verbal communication skill

Instill understanding of the Broadridge brand platform, principles and guidelines as the foundation for integration and targeting by market. * Work with content and design partners (internal and agency) to develop and review communications that align with and elevate the quality and consistency of our brand expression across all touch points. * Manage the migration and governance of Broadridge's master brand strategy for acquisitions, a key part of our growth strategy, which average four to six per year. * Assist with product naming of new and existing solutions in alignment with our brand and product architecture. * Develop, manage and distribute brand assets and tools that enable associates and creative partners to conveniently 'self-serve' while accurately and consistently representing our brand. * Work with Brand VP, Creative Director and senior designers to update and evolve brand guidelines based on learnings from application and additional needs. Publish and increase usage via communications. * Liaise with Internal Communications on brand communications and associate engagement programs.
