LMI is seeking a Strategy Planning Consultant for our Strategy and Organizational Management Group. This position is located in Chantilly, VA. Candidates must be possess an active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph.

Responsibilities

Role includes working as part of a team to conduct one or more projects in strategy, business or organizational assessment, workforce assessment and human capital management, process improvement, change management and communications, or program support. The primary focus of the work is planning and driving projects that help achieve major milestones along the client's strategic roadmap. Project work can include strategic efforts that range from strategic planning to tactical implementation and a variety of product development (such as briefings, reports, plans and road maps, dashboards and other quantitative results displays, multimedia products, and others). Activities include:

  • Drive activities associated with the client's strategic roadmap, and make necessary strategic shifts for the future

  • Working as part of a team to provide solutions and services to client challenges. Specifically, supporting initiatives, programs, and projects across different components of the organization, taking into account and addressing various stakeholder concerns and perspectives.

  • Developing and implementing strategies and plans, developing project deliverables, conducting analysis, and responding to client requests.

  • Developing and implementing project approaches and study plans. Collecting a variety of qualitative and quantitative information, analyzing it using appropriate methods and frameworks, and communicating results in concise and compelling ways to decision makers.

  • Supporting project management, quality management, planning, and communication activities

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of work experience, or master's degree with 5 years of work experience.

  • Knowledge of Agile framework and project management

  • Ability to develop a variety of written and presentation-based work products and deliverables

  • Ability to work in a team based environment

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint

  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, and presentation skills

  • Excellent customer relationship management skills

  • Management consulting experience

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

  • Federal consulting experience

  • Experience with Information Technology (IT) Programs

  • Experience with tools and methods for project management, data analysis, business analysis, and/or strategic communications and multimedia

Responsibilities Selected candidate will provide editorial production and dissemination support - editing, disseminating, and distributing factual and contextual products (unclassified and classified) to customers operating in multiple environments, locally and overseas. Also includes teaching sponsor staff product authors correct style and format through feedback. Qualifications Required Qualifications: * BS degree and 3+ years of related experience. * Must have editorial experience with excellent knowledge of correct English usage, spelling, and punctuation. * Demonstrated excellent copy-editing and proofreading skills. * Digital publishing applications experience to include, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer, Firefox, Adobe Acrobat Professional, HyperSnap, and others as needed.
