Responsibilities

The Corporate Strategy Office (CSO) at Draper is seeking an Operations Administrator to work closely with our office as we increase our contributions to the warfighter and supporting program offices. This position will operate as an integral member of the CSO team and work across the breadth of the Draper enterprise to ensure adequate coordination and collaboration across laboratory functions.

Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Manage CSO internal and external commitments to ensure on time execution and high-quality output.

  • Support the development, maintenance, and implementation of business strategy tools and processes.

  • Assist CSO staff in the development, refinement, review, delivery of sensitive information.

  • Coordinate scheduling of internal and external senior level meetings supporting CSO initiatives.

  • Coordinate archival of technical and programmatic data using existing and new tools.

  • Coordinate with programs, contracts and finance to collect, analyze and report metrics.

  • Assist in generating external business pursuit proposals, coordination of those proposals across the Draper enterprise and delivery/submission of proposals to potential external Sponsors.

  • Support development, execution and management with external subject matter experts and consultants

  • Other duties as assigned in support of business objectives.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to obtain US DOD Secret Clearance.

  • Business or technology management degree and/or commensurate professional experience

  • 5+ years professional experience in a high paced business operations role supporting sensitive government programs.

  • Demonstrated ability to quickly identify challenges and work across the laboratory to develop and implement solutions in a timely fashion.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Demonstrated ability to develop technically accurate and aesthetically pleasing work products and deliverables.

  • Proficiency with modern business collaboration tools or demonstrated ability to learn new tool sets to increase efficiency.

  • Willingness to operate in uncertain conditions.

  • Experience interacting with and developing trust-based relationships across multiple levels of the organization including with external representatives

  • Strong appreciation that it takes a team to solve todays warfighting challenges including acquisition and business-related challenges.

  • Unquestionable integrity and commitment to mission execution

  • Frequent on-site presence required with opportunity for remote work as possible due to business needs.

Prefered Qualifications:

  • Active Secret Clearance

  • Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
