Position Responsibilities

  • Act as an internal consultant on the executive operations team that regularly interacts with and advises the C-Suite, including the company president.

  • Analyze company-wide operations, including performance and productivity data, error rates and their root causes.

  • Interpret results autonomously using a variety of techniques, ranging from simple data aggregation via statistical analysis to complex data mining.

  • Strategically analyze reports across all departments to identify gaps or opportunities that drive business improvement.

  • Conduct current state analysis and get to root problems across various departments and Uline locations.

  • Design, develop, implement and maintain business solutions and recommendations to improve performance.

  • Execute process improvement projects that promote improved operating models and lead others to adopt changes.

  • Maintain and publish standard reports for executive operations.

  • Provide leadership to analysts.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.

  • 5+ years of strategy, analysis and / or consulting experience.

  • Experience in data mining and analysis a must.

  • Experience in a distribution, supply chain or warehouse environment a strong plus.

  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Access.

The most critical aspect of this position is the ability to manage the accounts and generate increased business by exceeding the client’s service expectations. The success of this position requires strong organizational and computer skills as well as knowledge of human resource management and employment law. This individual must be proactive in dealing with assignment employee, safety issues, timecards and payroll issues, and unemployment controls. </p><p>Career development and advancement opportunities offered. Generous PTO package and 401K offered.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities - Onsite Account Manager </strong></p><ul> <li>Establishes a strong relationship with assignment employees by treating them with dignity and respect</li> <li>Work with supervisors to monitor employees performance and production</li> <li>Onboard new hires on first day at client site</li> <li>Manage employee questions and concerns regarding assignment and position</li> <li>Coach employees regarding attendance, performance, productivity</li> <li>Daily reporting and metric management</li> <li> Monitor employees work performance on the work floor. Counsels assignment employees (<strong>using the </strong>F<strong>our points of discipline</strong>) on attendance, attitude, etc. when necessary and documents what transpired as well as scans and attaches any written warnings Recruits qualified employees by contacting referral sources, working with corporate recruiter as well as other co-workers in the office, and doing other recruiting activities on an on-going basis Organizes pre-employment drug tests when required and completes necessary reference or background checks as expected by the clients Performs reference checks, ensure that e-verifying was completed, and background checks as needed Understands and works in compliance with all EEOC policies (discrimination, etc.) Reports all discrimination, harassment complaints to the Senior On-Site Manager, Branch Manager and Human Resources department Investigates all complaints as directed, completes all paperwork, documents in TempWorks and faxes or emails completed forms to HR <br> <strong>Client Interaction:</strong> Services the account to exceed the client’s expectation – knows the client’s needs, likes and dislikes and communicates these to all co-workers Develops a strong rapport with all client contacts by regular communication – consults with all plant managers on a weekly basis to find out their hiring needs Maintains client profiles and job orders in TempWorks with accurate updated information Communicates changes and status of accounts to co-workers to ensure quality Identifies problem areas at accounts and facilitates effective solutions such as hire-on or buyout policies, etc and documents and communicates proposals to all appropriate staff. Follows up to ensure solutions are effective. <br> </li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul> <li> <strong><i>Education/Training</i></strong><strong>:</strong> High school diploma or GED required – College Degree is preferred.. Data entry score of 5000 minimum with a maximum of a 6% error rate required. Computer testing must score 80% on the basics of Word and Excel.
