Role Summary: The Strategy & Data Analytics Specialist is responsible for conducting in-depth research and analysis to identify trends and use data-driven insights to inform decision-making. This role also assists with the monitoring strategic initiatives and projects to ensure that they are progressing in accordance with proposed timeframes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • As a TC team member, responsible for personal spiritual formation, growing as an Upward, Inward, Outward disciple of Jesus Christ. This will mainly be expressed through the Five Characteristics of a Transformer (worship, connect, serve, give, invite).

  • Responsible for protecting the Culture of TC and for living out the Five CsCharacter, Competency, Catalytic, Collaboration, and Chemistry.

  • TCs Specialists are experts in their field, offering specialized guidance, overseeing specific tasks and project areas.

  • Strategic Forecasting & Data Analysis: Conduct in-depth research and analysis to identify trends and patterns. Provide insights that can help drive informed decision-making by turning raw data into meaningful information.

  • Data Management: Support TCs data management, including data governance, data quality, and data analysis.

  • Reporting: Coordinate the preparation of internal and external reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing information across various teams and locations.

  • Data Visualization: Create interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI and other reporting tools. Utilize visualization that simplifies complex information, displaying it in an appealing visual story that engages stakeholders and drives action.

  • Risk Management: Collaborate with the Lead to Identify and assess potential risks and challenges to the successful execution of strategic plans.

  • Quality Assurance: Support in monitoring deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards and align with the strategic objectives of the organization.

  • Documentation and Filing: Maintain organized and accessible files and records, making it easy for team members to access information when needed.

  • Learning and Development: Stay current with data analysis best practices and tools, continuously improving your knowledge and skills to contribute effectively to project success.

  • Other Duties: Will adapt to and fulfill additional responsibilities as necessitated by the role's requirements.

Additional Requirements:

  • Availability to work evenings and/or weekends as required.
  • TC Membership Requirement: TC staff members must become members of Transformation Church within a reasonable period.

Qualifications:

  • Education/Experience: Bachelors degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience is mandatory. Preferably, a minimum of three years of experience in a ministry context.

  • Computer/Technical Skills: Intermediate to advanced use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and project management software (Asana). Advanced use of Power Bi preferred.

Certificates and Licenses: CPR/AED Certification may be required (provided by Transformation Church).

Supervisory Responsibilities: This role may assist in the oversight of a team of servant leaders.

Work Environment and Physical Demands: The work environment is generally moderate, with varying lighting conditions and noise levels. Will require occasional lifting and physical movement. Specific vision and manual dexterity abilities are required. Reasonable accommodation can be provided to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.
