Enterprise Shared Services (ESS), part of Enterprise Finance & Information Technology (EF&IT), provides strategic guidance and streamlined support to meet increasing demands facing Wells Fargo's businesses. ESS provides a strong, scalable and more unified model to effectively deliver shared services to the enterprise. ESS is responsible for Enterprise Global Services (EGS) - Delivery, Enterprise Portfolio Management Office, Corporate Properties and Corporate Security, Operational Resiliency, ESS Governance, ESS Strategy and Front Line Risk Management.
This Strategy Consultant 2 position within Enterprise Function GSPO will support the Corporate Risk Division and will report to the Corporate Risk Relationship Manager Lead. Corporate Risk is the company's second line of defense and responsible for maintaining a company-wide view of current and emerging exposures, both across the company and for individual key risk types. The position will provide senior level consulting services to the Corporate Risk department using expertise and in-depth knowledge of the Wells Fargo business strategy with deep understanding of current and emerging trends in the financial services industry.
Identify, develop and evaluate performance improvement opportunities from a global workforce delivery, process improvement, business automation and organizational design perspective
Engage executive and senior leaders, other stakeholders and support groups to develop and execute strategic plans that support designated business drivers
Serve as point of contact for Corporate Risk partners throughout development, execution of initiatives and steady state management
Provide senior level consulting expertise to internal business partners, in alignment with the Wells Fargo enterprise-wide business strategy
Track, and report on the status of global sourcing initiatives to Corporate Risk leaders and Relationship Manager Lead to ensure goals are being achieved
Participate in the formulation and implementation of processes that assist with monitoring and reporting of global sourcing initiatives
Support development and review of service level agreements, statements of work and supporting contract documentation
Ensure appropriate governance is followed during global sourcing assessment phase and all global delivery activities are adherent to the Global Delivery Activity Policy

A BS/BA degree or higher
5+ years of financial services experience
Ability to influence executive decision-making and successfully negotiate critical issue resolution related to program initiatives
Ability to work effectively in virtual environment where key team members and partners are in various time zones and locations
Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Strong relationship management skills
Superior project management skills including the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently
Management consulting experience at a top-tier consulting firm
Ability to influence, partner, and negotiate with senior business leaders to gain commitment to accomplish business goals
Other Desired Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to develop, present and defend strategic business cases
5+ years direct experience guiding Risk Management functions
Key understanding of current and emerging trends in Financial Services Risk Management
Experience managing Global Delivery/Outsourcing and measuring associated performance
Ability to travel domestically and internationally
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
