The Google Technical Services team (known as gTech) provides technical expertise across all Google products to support our global Sales and Partnerships teams. We fix any issue on behalf of customers and partners; and collaborate closely with Google's engineering groups to create technical solutions that enable our sales organization to help our customers' businesses grow. The gTech Strategy and Operations organization provides thought partnership to our business partners via business critical insights using analytics. We ensure cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. gTech Strategy and Operations stays focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with strong day-to-day operations. We help gTech to land the present and shape the future of gTech. In this Strategy and Operations Lead role, you will be support strategy development and implementation for the Product and Tool organization which serves as the interface between Google Engineering and gTech, Google's largest operating team.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Experience structuring analysis using spreadsheet/presentation software.

  • Experience in organizational design, corporate strategy or equivalent project management experience in a technology firm

  • Experience in management consulting, investment banking, or equivalent strategy/project management experience at a technology firm.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or graduate degree, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Experience with business/financial modeling and analytical tools/techniques (e.g., statistics, SQL, Looker, or Tableau)

  • Superb problem-solving skills with experience executing complex strategic and operational initiatives in a demanding, change-oriented, fast-paced environment requiring a high degree of deadline-driven productivity.

  • Proven ability to work with different team members to design processes and implement strategic projects that solve business problems.

  • High proficiency with structuring strategic analysis and messaging using spreadsheets and presentations.

  • Knowledge of best practices in business operations, knowledge of service operations, customer support operations, internet/online media.

  • Serve as thought partner and trusted advisor to the gTech Product and Tool organization's executive leadership, helping to land the present and shape the future of gTech.

  • Identify and drive Product- and Tool-specific analyses and deep-dive projects, driving partnership across teams to implement recommendations.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in annual business planning, key organizational metrics, and other operationally strategic projects.

  • Work closely with leaders to provide operational business reviews.

  • Partner with gTech Product and Tool business partners and Engineering stakeholders to support landing product and tool launches.

As a Product Operations Manager, you will be the interface between the technical support and consulting teams, and other stakeholders, such as Product Management, Engineering, and Global Sales. From early piloting and wide-scale deployment, you will oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google online advertising, analytics and platform products. You will work on launching and landing product and technical solutions to ensure our customer support and implementation teams can provide support to our customers. Minimum qualifications: * Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. * 3 years of experience in program management, product commercialization, program management, or sales strategy and operations. * Experience with Internet technologies, such as SQL, HTTP, JavaScript, HTML, Cookies, XML, etc. along with system design and architecture. Preferred qualifications: * Master's degree or MBA, or equivalent experience. * 5 years of hands-on experience in Internet products and technologies. * Track record in roles working directly with Product Management and Engineering. * Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple teams and stakeholders. Deep data analysis skills, and ability to pull from many different data sources and then provide insights on that data. * Excellent project management, analytical, troubleshooting, influencing and problem-solving skills. * Excellent relationship building, collaboration, negotiation, influencing and written and verbal business communication skills. * Design effective launch programs to ensure that new products and feature releases are usable and serviceable before broad-scale deployment. * Execute betas to ensure products are ready for customer support and implementation. * Scale requirements for advertiser and publisher integrations by providing necessary documentation and guidance.
