Saputo Dairy Foods USA ("SDF"), a division of Saputo Inc., is seeking an Analyst to join our Strategy & Execution team. We are looking for an insightful, detail-oriented Analyst to support the Strategy & Execution Team and SDF Senior Leadership Team ("SLT") on a wide range of objectives, including strategy development and implementation, strategic communications, and analysis and insights in to internal company performance and external industry trends to support strategic decision making.
The Analyst will support SDF strategy development, planning, and execution by conducting strategic analysis, maintaining ongoing monitoring/assessment capabilities, and using findings to identify risks and opportunities and support development of stronger, more effective business strategies to grow revenue, reduce costs, and improve processes and practices. The Analyst will be responsible for researching and evaluating complex information, creating summary reports and presentations, and will be held accountable for delivering the highest quality, error-free analysis and deliverables, and achieving continuously improved results on a project-by-project basis.

Position Duties & Responsibilities
The Analyst will report to the Director/Senior Manager of the Strategy & Execution team, as well as support and interact with the Vice President, Strategy & Execution and the broader SLT, as projects tend to require significant high-level executive interaction. The Analyst will also collaborate with other cross-functional leaders and teams within SDF, as well as interact with individuals from other Saputo Inc. divisions, as projects require.
Key Responsibilities of the Strategy & Execution Analyst include:
Design and deliver detailed financial, strategic, and operational analyses, reports, and presentations to support and influence strategic issue resolution and decision making.
Use creativity and technical skills to identify, validate, and leverage data sources; mine, review, validate, and store data; identify trends, patterns, and variances; draw and present forward-looking insights and conclusions.
Design and execute analytics and technical content for studying business issues (competitive intelligence, market trend analysis, scenario planning, forecasting, market share, profitability, etc.)
Review and improve analytics processes, methods, and tools to increase efficiency, accuracy, and security.
Support strategic KPI development, collection, dashboard reporting, and continual process refinement to deliver actionable information across all levels of the organization.
Work with cross-functional business partners to identify and articulate key business issues and opportunities, apply appropriate analytical frameworks, develop recommendations, and represent findings to stakeholders.
Work with business leaders to establish strategic project objectives, budgets, and timelines, monitor progress, and evaluate performance.
Develop high-quality executive content, storylines, and presentations.
Manage the administrative aspects of the strategy management and analysis process.
Support various internal business processes and special project assignments, as required based on evolving business dynamics and priorities throughout the year (eg, long-range planning, annual budgeting exercises, M&A opportunity diligence, ad-hoc analyses and presentation development for/with the SLT)
A Bachelors degree in business, economics, mathematics or other quantitative/technical discipline
Minimum of two years professional experience in internal corporate strategy, strategy/management consulting, investment banking, corporate finance, or other similar business role
OTHER REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Analytical, Critical Thinking and Creative Problem Solving:
Proven research and data-driven analytical skills, with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze large sets of data efficiently and effectively
Ability to gather data from multiple, often disparate, sources and synthesize into meaningful reports and presentations
Experience conducting analysis, developing insights, and formulating conclusions based on a combination of quantitative and qualitative information
Ability to break down complex problems in to pieces that can be solved with data, analysis, assumptions, and judgment
Ability to understand and apply best practices from diverse sources to create fresh solutions
Solid proficiency in PC and business software applications (including MS PowerPoint and Excel modeling/data analytics)
Strong preference for SQL, Tableau, and/or other database and analytics software experience (or ability to master quickly)
Impeccable written and verbal communication, organization skills, presentation development skills, and attention to detail
Ability to produce and communicate concepts and recommendations clearly, concisely, and persuasively
Ability to create financial models and PowerPoint presentations at a level on par with leading management consulting firms
