On-site in downtown Nashville, TN; 10% in-state travel required

What this job involves

• Provide support of Integrated Facilities client and internal stakeholders related to optimization of JLL managed services operations and sourcing strategies. This position will report directly to the Strategic Sourcing Manager and will be responsible for leading Sourcing tasks / projects fairly independently with guidance and oversight. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with managing a project both tactically and strategically, possess excellent collaboration and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

What is your day to day?

• Be subject matter expert in support of JLL sourcing strategies, supplier relationships and program management. Work cross-functionally with account team to support operations teams and drive sourcing strategy with emphasis on performance management.

• Provide management, instruction, and follow-up in support of operations teams, RFP/bids, contracting, supplier onboarding and operational processes. Be proactive and manage internal and external customer expectations.

• Lead and manage all sourcing-related functions: performing due diligence and assessment of prospective suppliers, managing performance of active suppliers, driving team strategy, executing RFPs/bids and ensuring effective transition to operations during implementation.

• Lead all administrative tasks in relation to negotiating contract renewals and creating new contracts - balance multiple priorities simultaneously.

• Develop, customize, and distribute supplier communications, terms and conditions and related documents necessary to lead all onboarding tasks for suppliers in JLL systems.

• Develop and lead performance management program including but not limited to leading Quarterly Business Reviews with key suppliers, implementing scorecards and creative corrective action plan processes.

• Develop sourcing plan and strategy for the account focused on supplier diversity, performance management, cost savings, supplier consolidation / strategic expansion, and innovation.

• Closely participate in and with clients and Jones Lang LaSalle Sourcing, Facility and Property Management teams to drive both immediate and sustained benefits to the client.

• Perform periodic market trend analysis in the specific categories, analyzing supplier base, industry changes, etc. Report analysis to Sourcing Manager and business stakeholders in a client ready form.

• Support and assist development of diversity programs in accordance with clients and company requirements. Mentor/educate suppliers and Operations through meetings.

• Support daily Sourcing tasks and long-term Sourcing plans - take high level of ownership in specific categories and projects.

• Some limited same-day travel in the State of TN outside of normal office location(s) may be required to support various RFPs, projects, and other business needs.

• Help to build out and implement standardized and efficient sourcing processes for the account to help streamline current program.

• Regularly provide detailed status updates and communication to Supply Chain and business stakeholders.

• Ensure compliance to JLL's and client's sourcing and contracting policies, procedures, risk management programs, and ethics.

• Help maintain data integrity in all systems and ensure required documentation is received and required process steps are completed.

• Establish relationship with Corporate Legal and Risk Management to ensure all contractual terms and conditions comply with standard or other contract changes and are formally reviewed and approved by legal/risk management.

• Support Category Management team's supplier relationship and performance programs with key suppliers.

Desired experience and technical skills -

Required

• 3 years strategic sourcing experience for services or indirect categories (e.g., facility services and/or higher education facilities experience highly desired)

• Exhibits strong interpersonal skills, organization skills and analytical ability

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of identifying potential issues pro-actively and formulating solutions and contingency plans.

• Proven track record of excellent internal and external customer service

• Hands-on role requiring willingness and ability to be both the strategist and tactician.

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while delivering results in a fast paced and challenging environment; must be able to manage change and deadlines.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and communicate professionally

• Strong leadership skills: the ability to quickly build a working rapport and level of influence with internal and external stakeholders.

• Sound judgment, initiative, resourcefulness, tenacity, and the flexibility to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong, highly developed skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

• Strong systems skills - must be able to learn and operate multiple JLL systems quickly as tools for the role.

Preferred

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university

• Experience using Corrigo CMMS (computer maintenance management system)

• Comfortable reading, editing and drafting contracts/MSA
