Position Summary

The role works strategically with key stakeholders on their Procurement needs and executes an RFQ/RFP on the Bank`s behalf. The Strategic Sourcing Senior leads RFQ and RFP projects, evaluates suppliers, analyzes bids, negotiates terms, is responsible for post-award contract management and procurement analytics. Ensures that the Fourth District complies with the Federal Reserve System Model Acquisition Guidelines.

Essential Accountabilities

  • Lead cross-functional procurement projects (RFQs/RFPs) with key internal stakeholders.

  • Evaluate suppliers based on pre-determined selection criteria and analyzes bids to identify opportunities to achieve optimal value.

  • Analyzes bid/proposals to ensure requirements are met including compliance with appropriate Bank policies and procedures.

  • Prepare and execute clear, structured negotiation strategies.

  • Prepare and execute contracts as well as perform post-award administration, including vendor management.

  • Conducts operational analysis to identify trends and operational efficiency improvements. Keeps abreast of changes in policies and procedures affecting assigned area, and monitors and reports on specific trends.

  • Develops and prepares various reports associated with quality, performance, and operational statistics to ensure objectives are met.

  • Clearly communicates conclusions, analytical findings, reporting information and system enhancements to key stakeholders.

  • Analyzes industry trends and conditions that affect internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

  • Provides expertise to Federal Reserve System level assignments/workgroups.

  • Lead efforts related to the Bank's supplier diversity program.

  • Performs other duties as assigned or requested.

  • Adheres to the Bank's attendance policies through regular and prompt attendance.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 5 years of related work experience required for a Senior, 7 years of experience required for a Specialist

  • Professional certification preferred (Purchasing, APICS, ISCM, Certified Contracts Manager, and others)

  • Strategic Sourcing

  • Data Analytics / Tableau

  • Project Management

  • Vendor Management

  • Ability to perform independent research

  • Comprehensive knowledge of procure-to-pay principles and systems

  • Microsoft Office

  • Experience with SAP Ariba

Physical Demands and General Working Conditions

Employees typically sit most of the day, work with a computer and may answer/respond to phone calls. Physical movement consists of walking for meetings, breaks, etc. Ability to lift items weighing approximately 20 pounds on a limited basis is required. Employees may be required to travel by car/air.

Position Title: Senior Systems Administrator Reporting to: Sr. System Administrator Team Lead FLSA Status: Exempt Date Revised: 3/3/2020 As a Senior Systems Administrator, your essential job functions will include the following: * Configure and maintain Linux/Windows servers and processes, system health monitoring, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security * Troubleshoot complex Linux/Windows server issues Independently. Utilize all available resources to ensure timely resolution of server issues. Include contacting internal and external resources. * Administration of Active Directory/Azure, users, groups and roles for system access. (DNS, ADUC, DHCP, DFS Management and others) * Engineer and administer VMWare technologies. Relating to storage, networking, security, monitoring. Checking the health of all Hosts and remediate any issues found. * Understanding of Kubernetes or equivalent container and orchestration technology as it relates to infrastructure. * Administration of storage devices using industry/vendor best practices and established Dealer Tire standards and guidelines. * Accountable for maintaining vendor updates and patches on a maintenance schedule. (firmware, OS, software) * Plan and coordinate the activities required to support projects for network, server, hardware, and software. * Adheres to all IT policies, procedures, standards and guidelines. * Assist with administration of M365. Assist teams with technical matters and administration with an understanding of Security and Compliance * Collaborates on the design, specification, and deployment of reliable and cost-effective IT solutions that facilitate both current and future business requirements. * Develop and coordinate project direction and scheduling to maximize efficiencies and minimize impacts to internal/external customers. * Be able to effectively communicate with both end users and management * Engineering current and future business and IT systems, roadmaps, and strategic directions. * Research and prepare cost benefit analysis regarding IT projects and products where applicable. * Develop automation using scripting tools. (PowerShell, Ansible and other) * Provide documentation and training for all teams.
