WesTech Engineering Inc. has an immediate need for a Strategic Sourcing Manager. Under the direction of the Purchasing Manager, the Strategic Sourcing Manager plays a key role in creating strategies, developing new suppliers, leads negotiations for supplier agreements, contract management, sourcing for domestic and international needs, and driving best value decisions for WesTech.

Essential Job Functions

  • Creates commodity strategies for assigned commodities including but not limited to fabrication. Presents and obtains buy-in on strategies and action plans with all levels of the organization.

  • Executes on strategy and associated action plans to achieve desired results.

  • Leads negotiations on supplier agreements, including pricing, inventory, lead times, capacity planning and so on.

  • Supports groups in strategic sourcing for multi-generational projects, long-lead time jobs, and bid quotes.

  • Manages supplier risk; including financial, cost and operational risk.

  • Works with Quality, Logistics and Accounts Payable to ensure seamless integration of new agreements and new suppliers as well as supports in issue resolution.

  • Develops New Suppliers and Sources of Supply, domestically and internationally.

  • Works with Fabricators, Engineers and Project Managers on Continuous Improvement and Process Improvement initiatives as well as Design for Manufacturability.

  • Supports buyers as an escalation point for late deliveries, quality or other issues with suppliers.

  • Conducts Supplier Reviews regularly, reviewing scorecards and discussing performance with suppliers.

  • Benchmarks market trends and industry conditions, including prices, capacity, lead times and best practices.

  • Travels, as necessary, to help qualify new suppliers, resolve issues, and support the needs of the business.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree

  • Experience: Domestic and International Sourcing, Contract Management, Metals / Fabrication Purchasing, Logistics, and Quality.

  • Unquestionable honesty & integrity. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information and situations. Fair in working with suppliers / internal customers.

  • Expertise in using MS Office tools including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with both an internal and external customer focus. Ability to Present Vision and Strategies at all levels of the organization.

  • Analytical able to analyze data to find trends, see current state and create future state for commodity strategies.

  • Strong organization and multi-tasking skills with attention to detail and follow through.

  • Execute strategies and drive changes to ensure actions are carried out.

  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work within deadlines.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Business, Engineering or Supply Chain Management

  • Experience using Navision and MRP software

  • Experience using SharePoint

  • General knowledge of mechanical equipment

  • Second language skills a plus (priority to low cost country sourcing languages)

  • Water treatment and/or process equipment understanding

Physical Requirements

  • Office setting environment, including frequent computer work.

  • Frequently required to sit, talk, hear, and see. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.

  • Regularly required to move around the facility.

  • Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

  • Occasion travel, as needed, but generally less than 25%.

VIEW JOBS 11/9/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-07T00:00 Job Overview: The Strategic Media Trader will be responsible for the strategic planning, architecting, activating, and optimizing of digital media across multiple channels, platforms and devices including display, social, mobile, and native advertising to support digital campaigns. This includes buying operations that include setup, budget management, channel optimizations to ensure client KPIs are achieved. The Trader's role requires a deep understanding of digital media buying and experience executing campaigns leveraging a DSP) and/or other digital bid management systems. The Trader will contribute to team-level thought leadership and will be responsible for all day-to-day media strategies and buying for specific client initiatives. Responsibilities: * Work with media team on crafting digital media recommendations, research, campaign implementation and reporting/analysis * Serve as the tactical digital media lead on specific client campaigns * Evaluate inventory sources, data, analytics solutions and technology platforms options in marketplace * Execute and optimize digital media campaigns, overseeing campaign budgets and pacing and making continual adjustments to creative, targeting, and bidding to ensure client goals are achieved * Be able to craft and present strategy, learnings and programmatic optimization recommendations to internal account team, as well as to client executives in verbal and written form * Analyze media spend datasets to create weekly reports and communicate campaign status and progress to internal & external teams * Ability to troubleshoot campaign support issues * Manage and own relationships with vendors and third party services * Understand and implement tracking through URL parameters and adservers (i.e. DCM) * Work with key platform partners, focusing on ad product & creative innovation, audience and data strategy, use of PMPs, and measurement and attribution opportunities Qualifications/Key Skills: * Four-year college degree or equivalent work experience; Marketing, Mathematics, Statistics, or Finance is a plus * 3-5 years of experience in digital media buying and/or planning, including: * At least 2 years of hands-on self-service bid management platforms and active self-service Programmatic campaign management at an agency or trading desk platforms * Online direct marketing channels (DSPs, DMPs, etc.) * Online trafficking experience with Adservers (DCM preferred) and experience using pixels and coding URLs for campaign tracking * Experience analyzing data and program measurement and analysis * Strong analytical thinking and written, presentation, analytical, quantitative and verbal skills * Proficient working with Microsoft Office applications; strong Excel and PowerPoint skills * Is a self-starter and is resourceful in carrying out work assignments and following through * Organized, detail oriented, and highly focused with the ability to meet tight deadlines in an exciting, fast-paced work environment * Familiarity with Javascript and/or Python a plus Quotient Technology Inc.
