The Specialized Technology Recruiting Team at Facebook supports specialized technical hiring across unique hardware initiatives and innovative technologies. These organizations are responsible for developing and building the software and hardware platforms that power Facebook, its Infrastructure, and its family of apps.

As a Strategic Sourcing Manager, you will provide expert advice on effective sourcing strategies to a team of strategic and diversity sourcers, by driving innovative and creative talent strategies. You will mentor and guide sourcers in identifying non-traditional and diverse talent, using social media and other related platforms to engage candidates and executing strategy and plans focused on passively sourcing niche candidates. We are seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager who has built new teams from the ground up, has experience managing recruiting and/or sourcing teams in a fast-paced environment, is passionate about inclusive hiring and diversity as well as leading people with passion.

Strategic Sourcing Manager, Specialized Technology Responsibilities

  • Liaise with recruiting leaders to comprehend workforce plans and hiring plans in order to develop short- and long-term sourcing strategies to meet recruitment goals

Partner with Facebook hiring managers to develop a detailed profile of target candidates with data-driven advice on the range of logical possibilities

Develop and implement strategies and programs that will result in a dynamic and superior candidate experience and candidate satisfaction

Onboarding and training new sourcers who will often be geographically dispersed

Providing mentorship, guidance and career development to members of your team, particularly we are seeking someone who enjoys developing IC's

Lead by example through following, setting or sharing sourcing best practices

Ensuring sourcers are managing to milestones and metrics

Compile, analyze and capture insights from data to support business decisions

Identify trends and leverage knowledge, data and competitive intelligence to develop creative, customized sourcing strategies and in depth talent maps

Build strong cross-functional relationships with other Sourcing Leaders

Define, design and implement recruiting programs for a variety of positions including understanding and mapping the talent landscape, internal calibration and referrals, and matching those data points with the external talent supply

Monitor and manage all team activity on a continuous basis, ensuring appropriate utilization of workloads across the team

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8+ years of recruiting experience
    4+ years experience managing a team of sourcers and/or recruiters

Experience managing teams of 10+ direct reports and developing senior individual contributors

Experience delivering large projects, process improvements and managing through change

Experience communicating and working with cross-functional teams

Experience providing a consultative recruiting approach with internal stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical recruiting experience

Experience managing technical recruiters/sourcers

Bankers in the group are responsible for developing and managing relationships with North America based Technology companies with global operations that have public or private valuations typically greater than $750mm. We help our clients meet their objectives and challenges in financing, risk management, working capital, cash management and investments. Clients benefit from dedicated coverage provided by experienced Technology corporate bankers, who deliver the firm's extensive product platform and global presence. The bankers work closely with Investment Banking coverage and product partners (syndications, debt capital markets, equity capital markets, foreign exchange, derivatives, M&A, etc.), as well as credit underwriters and product specialists from Treasury Services, International Banking and Investment Management. This position requires an experienced relationship manager capable of prospecting and generating and driving new business. The ideal candidate must have high quality executive presence, proven client relationship skills and an ability to call at the CEO/CFO/Treasurer level. Strong corporate finance, credit, and transaction execution skills are required. The position is for a San Francisco based banker, with regular travel on the West Coast and occasional travel to other regions of the United States. Specific responsibilities and required skills are listed below. Primary responsibilities * Initiate and maintain strategic dialogue with Technology clients and prospects to generate corporate finance, treasury services and credit opportunities * Conduct comprehensive client analysis to identify business needs and deliver concrete financial solutions * Manage complex, multi-product client relationships as the primary corporate banking representative * Partner closely with Investment Banking coverage and product partners, and coordinate the sales and service efforts of partners across the firm * Collaborate with credit underwriting team on analysis, structuring, negotiation, and documentation of credit requests * Drive account planning process for clients and prospects, with particular focus on the use of credit capital and balancing firm wide priorities * Represent Corporate Client Banking & Specialized Industries in the local banking and business communities and develop a network of referral sources * Strictly comply with all regulatory and JMPC rules, policies, and procedures Qualifications * Minimum of 7 years of experience in Technology corporate banking or investment banking * Strong leadership abilities in business development and transaction execution * Strong prospecting skills * Solid corporate finance, credit, and problem-solving skills * Excellent oral and written communications * Knowledge of credit, corporate finance, treasury, investment banking, and other banking products * Self-motivated, dependable and intelligent * Excellent reviews and referrals from current manager, peers and clients * Candidate must be a top individual contributor, with a strong performance track record * Completion of a recognized bank credit training or investment banking training program * Possess (or obtain within three months of hire) FINRA Series 79 and 63 securities licenses Jpmorgan Chase & Co.
