Essential Functions and How They Are Accomplished. Consulting/Utilization Analysis.

Consults with end users throughout NMHC in identifying, analyzing and facilitating implementation of expense reduction initiatives tied to medical and surgical products, equipment and services. Includes communications with vendors, end users, physicians, management and third party partners. Facilitates the procurement of medical/surgical products, equipment and services for NMHC in collaboration with end users, NMHC Contracting Services, NMHC Purchasing Services, Inventory and Logistics and third party vendors.

Responsible for negotiation of key business terms related to savings initiatives, ongoing portfolio maintenance and contract arrangements. Supports clinical specialty committees focused on product introductions, value analysis and utilization review consistent with NMHC policies and procedures. Manages the overall medical / surgical product portfolio for various clinical disciplines across NMHC



  • Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Art.

  • Masters in Business Administration or Masters in Health Care Management

  • Registered Nurse

  • Operating Room Experience / Patient Care Experience

Ensure contracting and procurement standards are maintained throughout the portfolio. Interface with the client and the account team to understand and clarify service delivery requirements, including contractual service levels, insurance requirements, response times and technical qualifications of key suppliers. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Administrative * Administer and maintain contract files to ensure compliance with Jones Lang LaSalle and client requirements by managing supplier files, certificates of insurance, amendments, letters and other contractual documents * Manage databases, performs market and spend analytics, and model potential outcomes in order to develop professional solutions and recommendations and to drive cost savings and supply base efficiencies * Represent Sourcing to ensure contracts and procurement standards are maintained throughout the portfolio * Participate in the development of sourcing strategy, contract negotiation, and contract execution process as well as drive efficiency through continuous process improvement and creative cost savings initiatives * Support the Mergers & Acquisitions team with contract transfers adopted through M&A activity * Be proactive and seek continuous process improvement * Develop, implement and maintain a supplier diversity program in accordance with client and company requirements. Mentor/educate suppliers through meetings * Analyze supplier proposals, financial reports and other data to determine the reasonability of price and supplier's capabilities Compliance * Conduct local and regional Supplier Performance Review meetings, when requested, and manage supplier scorecards, contract compliance and service obligations. Relationship Coordination * Build transparency of Supplier spend and key risks related to our suppliers. Support reporting of results and opportunities * Provide management, detailed instruction and continuous follow-up to support the operations teams in standardized RFP/bid, contract processes, and sourcing initiatives. Be proactive and manage internal and external customer expectations * Establish relationship with Corporate Legal and Risk Management to ensure all contractual terms and conditions comply with standard or other contract changes are formally reviewed and approved by legal/risk management * Closely participate in and with the Client and Jones Lang LaSalle Sourcing and Facility Management teams to drive both immediate and sustained benefits to the Client EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE * Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Business, Purchasing & Supply Chain Management and 5+ years of sourcing experience, preferred * Experience supporting facilities services outsourcing, including critical environments and data centers, through procuring goods and services * Experience preparing and managing the RFP Process and experience negotiating contracts with suppliers, for both goods and services KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES * Excellent Inter-personal skills, organization skills, strong analytical ability, proven ability to work within teams in a decentralized environment * Motivated to grow and perform in a high performance organization * Experience in Facility Operations support and workflows * Hands-on role requiring willingness and ability to be both the strategist and tactician * Expertise in Sourcing with demonstrated ability to manage change * Excellent communication skills both oral and written * Proven ability to deliver results, including cost savings, while maintaining contractual service levels * Excellent PC skills, proficient in MS applications (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint) JLL Privacy Notice Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL), together with its subsidiaries and affiliates, is a leading global provider of real estate and investment management services.
