Finance brings together enterprise functions that drive Wells Fargo's financial management, including accounting and control, financial planning and analysis, line of business finance, asset-liability management, treasury, tax management, and the company's investment portfolios. They also inform shareholders, regulators, taxing authorities, employees, and leaders of the company's financial performance through earnings releases, investor meetings and conferences, and meetings with regulators and credit rating agencies, following appropriate reporting guidelines.

Wells Fargo Strategic Sourcing is currently seeking a Strategic Sourcing Consultant 2 (SSC2) to support the US Contractor Resources Program. This role will be responsible for working directly with managers and contractor staffing suppliers on the sourcing and engagement of contractor resources and will partner with managers across various lines of business to clarify and understand their needs. This team will ensure supplier compliance with the program.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Meet regularly with businesses to understand contractor resource demand and identify opportunities for savings

  • Manage full lifecycle RFP activities for contractor resources

  • Qualify requests, perform intake calls with managers, and conduct spotlight calls with suppliers

  • Review and shortlist resumes providing the most qualified candidates to managers for review

  • Release offers and negotiate supplier bill rates to align with current market data and ensure suppliers adhere to rate card

Base salary range for this role is:

CO - Denver Min: $80,500 Mid: $115,000 Max: $132,300

NC-Charlotte: Min: $80,500 Mid: $115,000 Max: $149,500

AZ-Chandler: Min: $80,500 Mid: $115,000 Max: $149,500

MN-Minneapolis: Min: $80,500 Mid: $115,000 Max: $149,500

IA-West Des Moines: Min: $80,500 Mid: $115,000 Max: $149,500

May be considered for a discretionary bonus, Restricted Share Rights or other long-term incentive awards

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: sourcing, technical sales, consulting, or vendor management demonstrated through work or military experience; or a Juris Doctorate (JD) degree and 3+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: sourcing, technical sales, consulting, or vendor management
  • 3+ years of Microsoft office suite experience such as PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Word

Desired Qualifications

  • 5+ years of contract negotiation and pricing experience

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities

  • Experience building partnerships and consulting effectively with leadership

  • Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members

Other Desired Qualifications

  • 3+ years' experience working in Temporary Staffing or for a Managed Service Provider
  • 3+ years experience with Vendor Management systems such as Beeline or Fieldglass

The Chief Operating Office (COO) is responsible for delivering a more consistent approach to business operations across Wells Fargo, strengthening the company's risk and control infrastructure, and delivering effective and efficient enterprise services to employees and customers. Wells Fargo is currently seeking a Strategic Sourcing Consultant 3 (SSC3) who will be responsible for leading and managing spend categories, developing strategic sourcing strategies for complex engagements, and leading both supplier selection and contract negotiations for high-risk and highly complex products and/or services that have significant strategic business impacts. The SSC3 will also be accountable for delivering category expense savings/avoidances and drafting customized contract terms to proactively address business requirements and risk concerns. Additional responsibilities include: * Proactively identifies and escalates contract risk-related issues and identifies and creates alternative contract language to mitigate risks (financial, operational, and reputational) when negotiating Master Agreements, Transaction Documents (e.g. Statement of Work or Schedule), Amendments, and other contractual documents. * Works with key stakeholders (senior leaders) across the LOB or enterprise to determine the long-term needs and applicable supply/service strategies. * Works with business partners to identify and drive Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) process improvements to reduce costs. * Supports initiatives specific to e-business (procure-to-pay), diversity, and sustainability in an effort to continually improve category effectiveness and efficiencies. * Provides input and leadership into the development of LOB periodic business reviews, Strategic Sourcing's annual LOB and category strategy reviews, and acts as Strategic Sourcing's liaison to key LOB leaders. * Leads vendor governance activities (i.e. supplier briefs, internal stakeholder meetings, vendor periodic business reviews) specific to Wells Fargo's most critical vendors. * Contributes to improving LOB and/or Strategic Sourcing processes and systems to enable more robust processes, or efficiencies/expense reductions.
