The Equifax Mortgage team continues to experience growth within the market across the country and we are expanding our sales team to support that growth.

The Mortgage and Housing Markets Relationship Manager (RM) is responsible for the execution of sales strategies that drive profitable growth. Reporting directly to the VP of the Enterprise Alliances Mortgage team, the RM engages proactively with prospects and current accounts on a consultative basis to learn their business, anticipate their needs and then propose and deliver innovative Equifax solutions in support of the Enterprise.

The RM is responsible for the relationship health and growth in his/her account area. Strong, positive and active relationships below the senior-most level are the keys to his/her success. Furthermore, this role provides critical "voice of customer" data back to Equifax and manages the sales pipeline content diligently. The RM role requires proficiency in defining and demonstrating a tangible ROI.

The Relationship Manager will:

  • Establish, maintain and grow key customer relationships

  • Lead Equifax sales efforts for targeted account areas to include prospecting and closing new logos

  • Work seamlessly across Equifax with his/her cross-functional team in order to smoothly engage and coordinate all functional areas as required

  • Assess the client and prospect needs and leverage appropriate Equifax expertise/solutions for profitable sales

  • On behalf of the target account, develop business cases to support solution development that include the "voice of the customer"

  • Manage negotiations, sales pipeline, pricing and customer contracts

  • Represent Equifax at key customer meetings or customer sponsored events

  • Work with the NPI team to build applicable solutions

  • Collaborate with Equifax partners for integrated solution development

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have ten or more years of experience in a client-facing strategic sales role. The candidate must thoroughly understand the operations of client account and be able to partner with and influence the agendas of multiple client stakeholders.

In addition, the successful candidate must have demonstrated the following competencies:

  • Minimum of 5 years in the mortgage and housing market

  • Experience working with senior-level executives and build/maintain those relationships

  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills; familiarity/comfort in public speaking

  • Proven negotiation skills

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams across Equifax competencies

  • Ability to drive urgency in the sales cycle and the execution of solution strategies.

  • Exceptional ability to manage a robust pipeline.

  • Excellent planning, organization, multi-tasking, prioritization and facilitation skills

  • Proven experience in driving significant revenue growth with highly complex strategic clients

  • Experience demonstrating innovation, with an understanding of credit, risk and marketing solutions

  • Knowledge of existing and emerging regulatory/compliance requirements, including the ability to leverage that knowledge to proactively drive sales

  • Ability to travel as needed

Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM). Demonstrated project management skills and ability to effectively work with all organizational levels required. Experience in applying Delta's Strategic Sourcing Process is strongly preferred. Competent in research and analysis. Proficient in negotiation, contract management, managing work and meeting leadership. Fully competent in category management, strategic sourcing; presentation skills; communication skills; project management; value-based decision analysis; process design and improvement; and consensus building. Demonstrates developing abilities in change management, team building, and resource planning & management. Fully competent in optimizing own capacity; demonstrating openness and self-confidence; managing interactions with others; building value-based relationships; exerting personal influence; driving customer-based business strategies; accepting and building accountability; and using judgment and common sense. Strong analytical skills are desired, including proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Must be proficient in financial analysis, including variance reporting and bid evaluation.
