The Commercial & Pricing Analyst will be a key participant in building an efficient and sustainable global pricing function - focusing on the US market - that will oversee the development and growth of profitable new business; develop and maintain effective key relationships within the business, as well as being an advocate of standardised pricing practices and a robust competitive intelligence library.

To ascertain and analyse intelligence on buyers behaviour, new competitors, regional considerations, and customer and internal feedback on pricing strategies. Identify and manage competing demands in the area of pricing strategy, tender and proactive submissions to new business, and other operational considerations to ensure objectives are achieved. Continually re-evalating processes to find improvements or competitive advantages.

Requirements

Bachelor degree in finance, commerce, or statistics.

7+ years of experience in similar roles

Must possess the ability to influence internally, externally, and be able to drive decisions across an organization

Conducting expert reviews, competitive benchmarking and market research

Solid ability to discern and satisfy client needs while streamlining inefficiencies

Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to work and communicate professionally.

Must thrive in a fluid, fast-paced evolving environment.

Strong negotiation skills required, including the ability to handle objections and achieve mutually beneficial solutions

Proficient in spreadsheet and database programs, such as Microsoft Excel.

Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
