The Alaka'ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) has a need for a Strategic Portfolio Leader for enterprise level life cycle management of the Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED) project portfolio management operations in Falls Church, VA.
Evaluating organizational strategic goals and objectives using document reviews, interviewing, and other information gathering techniques in order to understand the strategic priorities of the enterprise and how PMSO can optimize support.
Maturing the prioritization criteria matrix (e.g. Legislative for mandated programs, dependencies with other projects, ROI, stakeholder expectations, strategic fit) using information gathering techniques for decision making.
Providing recommendations to the Portfolio Management Support Office Director to assist in the projectization of strategic priorities.
Through the use of qualitative and quantitative analyses, providing a guiding framework to operationalize the organizational strategic goals and objectives into a project management framework.
Performing an analysis of the impact of change in strategic goals and objectives to the portfolio and portfolio components.
Maintaining the high level portfolio roadmap using prioritization, interdependency analysis, and organizational constraints in order to confirm and communicate the portfolio components sequencing, dependencies and strategic alignment.
At least three (3) years' relevant experience after receiving PMP certification is preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience associated with successfully accomplishing all tasks.
Experience working in Navy Medicine programs is preferred.
Must be a US Citizen.
Must be able to pass a National Agency Check with Local Credit Checks (NACLC).
