Strategic Planning & Operations helps the Partnerships leaders build better businesses through strategic planning and operational effectiveness.

The Strategic Planning & Operations team is looking for a lead to support Ad Tech Partnerships within Facebook's Audience Network business. In this role, you will partner closely with the leader of the Ad Tech Partnerships business as well as with cross-functional leaders in Partnerships Marketing, Sales, Product Marketing, Product Management, Engineering, and Finance. As a critical thinker and trusted thought partner, you will enable leadership to make analytically-driven strategic decisions and help increase operational rigor of the business.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about Facebook, and have a deep understanding of the Ad Tech ecosystem, a strong analytical and consultative strategic mindset with a track record of driving tangible results, experience in working with stakeholders from both commercial and technical backgrounds, a passion for scaling new businesses, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

This is a full-time position and is located in Menlo Park or New York.


  • Be a thought partner and influencer with leaders and other internal stakeholders on key business initiatives, programs, resource planning, and special projects

Frame decisions and contribute a strong point of view on how to build out the business

Be the person that can connect the dots between teams to identify areas for improvement, efficiency, and collaboration

Stay up-to-date with trends in the industry, including knowledge of current/potential partners

Lead core sales operations processes for the team, including quarterly and annual goal setting and planning

Ensure we have strong plans and KPIs in place at a regional and market/vertical level

Lead operational reviews and business analytics to drive decision-making and review progress on goals and priorities (e.g. monthly/quarterly business reviews)

Drive key leadership meetings and facilitate alignment on key issues and opportunities

Conduct business research and analysis and provide actionable insights for leadership to support decision-making (e.g. revenue, customer, market insights)

Oversee building of standard business review documents and business requirements for reporting

Identify areas of process improvement and build plans for teams to improve

Work closely with internal communications teams to ensure leadership is communicating constantly and transparently within the team and across Facebook


  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, economics, business or other relevant/quantitative disciplines

Subject matter expertise in the Ad Tech ecosystem

8+ years of experience in strategic planning, sales/business operations, or marketing operations in the digital media space

Distinctive problem solving and analytical skills, with a proven track record of driving projects from strategy to execution

Leadership and influencing skills - experience leading/influencing stakeholders at all levels of an organization

Experience helping build new businesses

Experience and familiarity with SQL, and with CRM tools like Salesforce

Excel and PowerPoint skills


  • Master's degree in Business Administration

Professional background at a leading management consulting firm and/or in a relevant strategy/operations team

Demonstrable experience working cross-functionally with leadership in developing and executing successful plans

Change management experience
