As a individual contributor, the Strategic Partner Program Manager will be a key member of the Genesys Channel Program + Enablement team, leading and supporting on key partner initiatives including channel readiness, product (technical and non-tech) as well as global partner programs, all to ensure our partners can effectively go-to-market with Genesys.

In this role, you will:

  • BE AN OWNER & BE BOLD: Lead and own the end-to-end project management and execution of initiatives, by collaborating with a cross-functional work-stream team, developing needs assessments, intervention selection, design, implementation, to then report data, progress, updates, challenges, and solutions that will influence decisions at the senior level within Genesys
  • BE A MULTI-TASKER: Develop and iterate many complex initiatives simultaneously, across multiple business units, for both technical and non-technical team members. You must manage deadlines, risk, and communicate effectively.
  • BE AHEAD OF THE GAME: Stay abreast of current channel industry and/or technology trends, provide guidance, consulting and expertise for the team, executive leadership as well as throughout the channel organization
  • THINK OUTSIDE OF THE BOX: Be an innovative thinker, balanced with an operational focus to implement efficiencies and launch programs at a global scale. Be creative, identify the roadmap and path forward, and build the go-to-market strategy for your key initiatives. Develop and/or assist with development of new methods and processes for improving program(s) and operations
  • EMPOWER OTHERS: Interact extensively across all functional teams within Genesys with significant exposure to our executive leadership.
  • COLLABORATE: Work across the BU, Marketing, Enablement Development and GTM team to deliver on the overall goals of the initiative or program
  • BE PERSONABLE: Ensure the consistent exercise of appropriate judgment, discretion and building of strong relationships with our partners, internal channel stakeholders and our direct field sales organization.


  • Bachelor's Degree AND 6+ years of program management experience, including managing large initiatives/workstreams Experience in core tech and non-tech project management disciplines to include scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management

  • Experience managing, influencing, negotiating, and communicating with business partners and internal teams on project/program workstreams and performance

  • Experience engaging with C-Level executives, senior executives, and working across internal and external organization

  • You should have advanced writing skills, communication, project and program management, analytical and organizational skills, and a passion for structured change.


  • Experience implementing product and organizational change in a channel role

  • Previous experience running facilitated workshops with senior executives and driving outcomes

  • Understanding of the cloud ecosystem

  • Experience working in a Channel Sales function or supporting a Channel + Partner Sales team desired

Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • Advanced project management and strong program management skills

  • Advanced facilitation, consulting skills and business acumen

  • Strong leadership, communication, change management, and project management skills

  • Strong relationship management skills, including competency in partner management and cultural awareness

  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing comprehensive channel go-to-market initiatives
