PSECU, a high-tech, progressive financial institution with more than $5 billion in assets, is seeking a Strategic Marketing Manager. The Strategic Marketing Manager is responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of persona-based marketing programs encompassing PSECU's value, product and services offerings in support of consumer goals. He/she is responsible for on-going reporting at the program level, ensuring campaigns, projects and other initiatives remain on time, on budget and are driving business results.
The Strategic Marketing Manager oversees a team of 2-3 Marketing Project Managers instrumental in executing the marketing plan set forth to deliver on consumer goals. Maintains relationships with key business units across the organization to continuously collaborate, inform and evaluate persona-based marketing programs. Addresses business unit needs by aligning them with business and consumer goals.
The Strategic Marketing Manager works closely with the Advertising and Digital Marketing, Content, Web, Creative and Marketing Analytics and Research teams to develop marketing programs that ensure brand consistency and strategic delivery of communications. He/she has marketing program oversight and can recalibrate as needed based on trends, insights, budget and timing constraints as well as overall performance.

DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation, of persona-based marketing strategies that meet consumer needs and support PSECU's strategic initiatives that drive growth.
Prioritizes initiatives based on consumer expectations, resources, and impact potential at each stage in the marketing funnel.
Assists in the development of marketing budgets.
Delivers strategic presentations within the department, business units, clients and key stakeholders.
Uses human-centered design thinking and tools to lead and facilitate strategic thinking and encourage creativity.
Regularly collaborates with business units and key stakeholders within the credit union.
Prepares reports and updates to marketing leadership and senior management.
Leads business unit marketing planning
Responsible for effectively managing risk and communicating acceptance of risk to the team.
Coordinates market research to identify and assess opportunities to expand our product offerings, promotions and to fully understand consumer needs.
Motivate and encourages consumer-centric thinking within the Marketing Project Management team.
Defines goals and objectives while promoting learning and growth opportunities within Marketing Project Management Team.
Evaluates direct reports' performance at least annually and, when applicable, assists in the administration of disciplinary action.
Maintains 24/7 on call schedule including participating in afterhours planned and unplanned events.
DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

Supervise workflow and staff, using PSECU's coaching style of management (1-on-1 dialoging regularly, delegating effectively, setting expectations and goals, proving ongoing training, providing development opportunities, holding staff accountable in accordance with the credit union's performance management process).

Must meet creditworthiness standards.

MINIMUM / PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
Master's degree in Marketing or a related field
Agency experience highly desirable
