We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Strategic Liaison to the CEO to join the team in our Bethesda, MD office.

CohnReznick is a hybrid firm as most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered hybrid which means team members are expected to alternate time between both remote and office. YOUR TEAM.

This position will support our Chief Executive Officer. This role combines traditional support responsibilities with project management assignments to ensure effective support is provided to our Chief Executive Officer. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring effective communication, coordination, and execution within the organization and with senior executives outside of our firm. It also requires exceptional organizational acumen and leadership skills to facilitate the CEO's priorities and initiatives.

This position also supports our Chief of Staff with the facilitation and coordination in connection with our Partner Development, Partner Promotions, and Partner Direct admit recruiting efforts.

Lastly, this role demands discretion, confidentiality, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional communication, technology and interpersonal skills, and a proactive approach are essential attributes for this demanding and rewarding position.

YOUR ROLE.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Work closely with the CEO to ensure the smooth functioning of the CEO's office by supporting the execution of his priorities and activities.

  • Project Management:

  • Prepare and update presentations.

  • Track progress on various ongoing projects, analyze priorities, and provide insights to drive efficiency.

  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to arrange working sessions, and ensure project goals are met.

  • Stakeholders Communication:

  • Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding project updates and timelines, ensuring clear and effective communication on behalf of the CEO.

  • Maintain regular communication with stakeholders to address project-related inquiries and provide status updates.

  • Filter information, prioritize messages, and ensure efficient flow of communication.

  • Initiate, plan and coordinate outreach for meetings and projects.

  • Meeting Coordination:

  • Manage the CEO's calendar, schedule meetings, and coordinate logistics for important events.

  • Prepare meeting agendas.

  • Plan executive team events.

  • Information Management: Conduct research, prepare reports, and gather data to support decision-making processes.

  • Foster collaboration and coordination among stakeholders and address challenges and obstacles effectively, offering solutions and support.

  • Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times.

YOUR EXPERIENCE.

The successful candidate will have:

  • 5-8 years of experience in role requiring organizational, communication and project management skills; or a role supporting senior executives/management is preferred.

  • A bachelor's degree is preferred.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with key stakeholders and represent the CEO effectively.

  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.

  • Ability to analyze complex situations, identify key issues, and develop effective solutions.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to interact with diverse stakeholders.

  • A strategic mindset to contribute to the long-term success and growth of the organization.

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships.

  • Flexibility to adapt to evolving and shifting priorities and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges and find innovative solutions.

  • High level of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information and discussions.

  • Paralegal experience or certification would be a plus.
