Part of the CMO organization, the Global Audience and Partner Marketing teams mission is to deliver SAPs brand narrative to defined audiences through integrated demand programs. As we drive this mission, GAPM is seeking an innovative and highly motivated marketing leader to drive strategic cross team initiatives.
In this role, you will lead a team dedicated to building and orchestrating the go to market strategy and demand gen plan for key SAP initiatives like Intelligent Enterprise, Brand narrative etc. as well as identifying opportunities and building cross-LoB, cross-audience messaging and demand gen campaigns.
The right candidate will have a proven record of successfully driving strategic cross functional marketing initiatives, can demonstrate experience in managing and communicating with senior executives, working with sales, services, product marketing, global, regional and market unit stakeholders as well as building global integrated marketing programs.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
Build the framework and GTM model for bringing to market and scaling strategic initiatives through standalone, LoB and Regional/MU marketing programs
Represent GAPM in cross team and cross SAP initiatives
Drive community, requirements and communication for successfully landing key initiatives into market
Own KPIs for strategic initiatives marketing programs
Manage executive stakeholders relationship across marketing, sales and services at global, regional and market unit level
Influence and enable LoB integrated programs teams within GAPM to align messaging and assets to core messaging and goals for SAP strategic initiatives
Drive consistent communication and alignment with regions and MUs
Own planning process for the strategic initiatives
Build stand alone or LoB focused integrated marketing programs in close collaboration with Regional/MU, Global and Product Marketing, to land and achieve strategic initiatives goals
Own messaging, build and KPIs for demand gen programs aligned to strategic initiatives
Own messaging framework and requirements for all GAPM programs to drive consistent red-thread Brand narrative
Manage a team of seasoned marketing professionals
Grow and retain talent, enable and develop individual contributors
Drive high employee engagement and management KPIs
CRITICAL PERFORMANCE COMPETENCIES
Strong relationship and consensus building skill both in developing relationships with the field, other cross-functional constituents as well as critical third-party resources when necessary.
Excellent writing, presentation and communication skills.
Exceptional analytic, budget and forecasting skills and experience making in-source vs. outsource decisions.
High level of business, executive functioning, marketing acumen, and decision-making expertise.
Flexible and adept at navigating ambiguity and managing multiple projects, deadlines and competing priorities.
Highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced team environment and is readily adaptable to changing market and organizational dynamics.
Natural curiosity, and excitement to stay abreast with the latest marketing technology trends and best practices.
Able to think outside of the box -- or remove the box -- and pursue continual process improvement.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Masters Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
5-7+ years experience working with executives
Impeccable managerial and interpersonal skills
Proven track record of effectively interacting with senior management
Ability to work strategically and collaboratively across departments
Knowledge of B2B customer lifecycle from awareness to advocacy.
International experience, understands regional and country-level cultures, buying behaviors, maturity levels and understands the unique localization needs.
Have championed or worked in a Global function, Center of Excellence or Shared Services Operating Models.
