Strategic Foresight Consultant - Insurance Focused

ABOUT YOU:

This is an associate level (3-5 years) role and the compensation reflects such experience.

As a member of our consulting team, you’ll work alongside some of the world’s top minds with clients that reshape businesses across all industries. You’ll collaborate on challenging projects with team members from many backgrounds and disciplines, increasing your understanding of complex business problems from diverse perspectives and developing new skills and experience to help you at every stage of your career—at FTI and beyond.

YOUR KEY OBJECTIVES:

• Advanced ability to analyze data and summarize information from multiple sources to perform analyses. 
• Develop and deliver compelling, relevant, and actionable insights.
• Engage with client stakeholders to scope and understand needs
• Demonstrated ability to work on 1-3 projects simultaneously.
• Provide intermediate subject matter expertise in the insurance space 
• Proficient in PowerPoint. Excel proficiency preferred.

Requirements

SKILLS & EDUCATION

• Bachelor’s Degree in Strategic Foresight, Design, Management, Business or a related field 
• 3-5 years of experience working in a consulting, strategy, or research role within an insurance carrier or broker is required
• Excellent writing skills (we will ask for writing samples from qualified candidates)
• Ability to envision the future and make connections
• Ability to synthesize huge amounts of information into interesting, readable reports
• Exceptional analytical skills in trend and emerging technology
• Great communication skills: interact with clients using the right tone in emails, in person, and in virtual meetings
• Strong record of leadership in an academic, managerial or extracurricular setting
• Passionate about strategic foresight
• Deeply interested in emerging technologies and science
• Experience working with remote teams and in virtual office environments
• Flexible, adaptable and open to different ways of solving problems
• Willingness to travel up to 25%
