The Strategic Engagements Analyst will:

  • Gather information, provide analysis, develop, and produce written products in support of the organization's strategic coordination initiatives and planning objectives.

  • Plan, facilitate and attend working groups, meetings, symposiums and conferences in order to facilitate discussions that produce measureable actions and results.

  • Review and provide comments on related strategy, strategic planning documents, instructions, policy, and doctrine both developed internally and received from higher headquarters, or external sources.

  • Draft meeting minutes, executive summaries, action items list, and other similar documents and strategic planning topics.

  • Maintain and ensure proper retention of all documents, files, presentations and materials in accordance with J5 knowledge management practices.

The Global Information Grid (GIG) Services Management (GSM) Acquisition of Services (AoS) is a United States (U.S.) Government program chartered to provide support to the Defense Information System Network (DISN) and associated networking capabilities. In this exciting role, you will be the Strategic Cyber Planner to provide technical expertise to assist with the development of strategic and operational plans that contain a variety of viable cyberspace options, including mission analysis, courses of action (COA) development, COA analysis war gaming, COA comparison and approval, commander's estimates, and campaign plans, and order development. * Assist with deliberate planning to include the management and implementation of the Adaptive Planning Process from strategic guidance to completion of USCYBERCOM level one through level four plans. * Coordinate, de-conflict, and facilitate communications with all applicable staff elements, subordinate headquarters/commands, service cyber components, CCMD, components, and agencies with cyber-related missions. * Provide the technical research, analysis, and recommendations for JFHQ-DODIN to develop cyberspace COAs, CONOPs, and TTPs in order to support cyberspace operations and long-range/deliberate planning efforts. * Provide recommendations concerning synchronizing cyberspace operations more effectively with the collection, review, and assessment of existing DOD and service cyber documentation, exercise, and event scenario reports, CONOPs, TTPs, and lessons learned. * Participate in the preparation and execution of Command meetings/conferences/visits with Allies, Services, Agencies, Academia, Industry, and Commands to include visit coordination, logistics, and development and dissemination of command information packages and materials * Gather information, provide analysis, develop, and produce written products in support of the organization's strategic coordination initiatives and planning objectives * Provide pre-scheduled (or upon request) status updates of assigned products, draft meeting minutes, executive summaries, action items list, and other similar documents and strategic planning topics * Provide analysis, recommendations, and strategic guidance to enable effective cyberspace operations * Create products to include engagement reports, executive summaries, after action reports, meeting minutes, action item lists, PowerPoint presentations, strategic coordination plans, strategic communications documents, SOPs, GENADMINs, TTPs checklists and CONOPs in support of J5 and Chief of Staff requirements * Position is located in Fort Meade, MD The Public Service Sector consulting practice is a trusted advisor to federal, state and local governments, partnering to meet challenges and responding quickly to citizen demands, business needs, new economic conditions, and changing legislative priorities and policies BENEFITS Health Insurance.
