JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The primary function of the Strategic Customer Representative is to increase market share within a select group of customers and high profile Live Entertainment events. This will be accomplished by increasing revenues and building long-term relationships, specifically with Power & HVAC services. This role will target growth from customers, and new potential customers/prospects, to the program. With the expectation to influence and manage decision maker relationships with customers, requiring temporary Power & HVAC for their events. This position will also serve a mentor and liaison role in the overall go-to-market sales strategy for Power & HVAC, with Sunbelt stakeholders who are also working within this sector.
Management of customer relationships and account development.
Prepare for each event by self-performing: take-off's; detailing lay-out; understanding of scope of work; specification sheets; 1-line drawings and materials to power, distribution, HVAC, safety and related customer needs.
Deliver consistently detailed and highly professional quotes, in a timely manor.
Make office and field visits to build on or create new relationships.
Coordinate with other Sunbelt stakeholders for each customer and event.
Build a clear 'quote and jobs-won' pipeline. Utilizing target customers and events calendar. Discuss upcoming jobs and equipment requirements, in a timely manor, with inside sales support, national and local sales people and operational managers.
Actively promote other specialty businesses, including Ground Protection, General Tool, Climate Control, Flooring Solutions, Pump Solutions, etc.
Investigate and resolve any issues including contract, invoice, service, etc.
Identify new customers for the program.
Present to owners, decision makers & influeners of target customers. Qualify needs and offer solutions.
Create strategic customer agreements and complete process with our Contracts, Pricing and Sales management teams.
Review the customer's account with accounts receivable on a monthly basis and resolve any issues.
At least four years previous outside sales experience.
Knowledge and proven sales performance in: Live Entertainment or related sectors; different phases of Events; Power & HVAC equipment applications and solutions.
Strong Power and/or HVAC technical applications knowledge is a must.
Safety minded, preferably holding an OSHA10 card or similar proven safety training accreditation.
Must have excellent math, spatial thinking, oral and written communication skills.
Able to lift, bend, stoop, squat, reach, crouch and kneel.
Computer literate, including Windows, Adobe Acrobat, and the Microsoft Office suite of products
