Zscaler is looking for a Strategic Communications Specialist to drive communications for Zscaler's Sales Programs. Areas of ownership will include communications spanning from RevUp programs (RevUp LIVE for sales, technical and partners, as well as the newsletter), Partner Summit (drip campaign / promotional strategy), Onboarding (experiential content, Bootcamp presentations), SKO / Halftime (internal communications, external attendee promotional strategy), VBC (upleveled communications, drip campaign / promotional strategy), specialized training sessions (emails to drive proper preparation and follow up) and ad-hoc, as needed. They will deliver clear, concise, engaging and action-oriented communications across all programs, maintaining proper brand and tone for each program. This individual will not only produce a communication strategy for all programs, but will consult others on best practices for written engagement.

The Strategic Communications Specialist will focus time and efforts on the following:
Partner with various stakeholders on key initiatives (RevUp LIVE, VBC, Onboarding, Partner Summit, etc.) and develop integrated communications plans that help achieve business outcomes (includes drafting key messaging, communications, presentations, talk tracks, FAQs, and other materials)
Develop creative and compelling drip campaigns for external facing programs, to drive engagement and interest in offered experiences (VBC, Partner Summit, SKO / Halftime)
Build communication plans to support GTM enablement efforts for new product offerings and services (ZDX, Edgewise, etc.)
Uplevel onboarding communications, encompassing automated touch points, weekly check ins, action-oriented guidance, leadership updates and Bootcamp (pre-work, post-work, presentations)
Support communication needs (presentations, talk tracks, emails, etc.) related to All Hands and QBR
Write impactful ad-hoc communications as needed (emails, presentations) with clear CTAs and relevant resources
Proactively collect data and information from multiple business partners and systems to help guide the narrative across all programs
Translate content consumption metrics into click-worthy, engaging communications that increase knowledge and engagement of targeted audiences
Craft narratives that leverage storytelling and are aligned with our company values, culture, and style
The Strategic Communications Specialist will drive to the following success metrics aligned to each program:
VBC / CXC: % Net New, % Hits to Microsite, % Conversion to Requested VBC
RevUp LIVE (Sales, Partner & Tech): # Attendees, Engagement Score, % Increase in execution performance across all related topics
Onboarding: Ramp Time, Time to First Deal, Average Tenure Without Quota
New Product GTM Enablement: % Increase in execution performance across all related topics
The right candidate for the Strategic Communications Specialist role should have:
Excellent written communications skills (and ability to provide many samples)
Meticulous attention to detail
Self-motivated, independent, and committed to getting things done
Proven ability to multi-task and work with multiple deadlines
Familiar with best practices for written engagement
Innovative, creative and organized
Familiar with Sales Methodologies and/or Value Based Selling (ex: MEDDIC)
Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects simultaneously
Strong preference for a background in a selling or enablement role
