We are committed to supporting your success in both your professional and personal lives.Position OverviewQinetiQ U.S. seeks a Strategic Communications and Public Affairs Advisor to support an integrated marketing communications and public affairs portfolio on behalf of a federal law enforcement organization within the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The primary workstreams include developing multimedia projects and campaigns in coordination with program managers and technical subject matter experts; providing daily communications and public affairs guidance and support; and assisting with building the team's marketing communications and external relations capacity.Responsibilities * Provide high-level integrated marketing communications and public affairs support on an array of activities from building strategic communication plans and creating websites to executing event management and digital strategies. * Support agency executive leadership on daily public affairs and integrated marketing communications programs. * Build and maintain collaborative and strategic relationships with a variety of subject matter experts and agency leadership. * Quickly analyze, interpret and convey complex and technical mission-related language into clear, concise and accurate language. * Identify, recommend and implement integrated marketing communications tactics and campaigns. * Adapt and excel in a dynamic environment with an eye for capturing short- and long-term strategic goals. * Identify opportunities to introduce QinetiQ solutions that address existing and anticipated client challenges.Required QualificationsQualifications:*
