As the Strategic Business Consultant, you will showcase demonstrated analytical ability (inclusive of Excel, Business Intelligence modeling, and PowerPoint skills), balanced with a strong professional presence, critical reasoning, and strategic thinking skills. You will partner with clients and sales personnel to identify opportunities to drive business growth & profitability and help clients achieve their fleet goals

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Element team members on strategic accounts to define retention/growth strategies and provide required analytic support

  • Maintain regular interaction to proactively identify new savings or other opportunities for all assigned clients

  • Conduct thorough and detailed analyses using client data and decision support models

  • Interpret data and make meaningful and creative recommendations to the client

  • Partner with the Account Team to develop and/or enhance client relationship through consulting engagement

  • Identify and articulate best practices within an industry

Qualifications:

  • Technical or Business Bachelor's Degree (Finance/Accounting Concentration preferred)

  • MBA or technical Graduate degree strongly desired

  • Minimum of 3 years' business experience

  • Strong interpersonal skills and presentation skills with a consultative approach

  • Ability to design and deliver presentations to clients, interact with clients in person and over the phone, including the ability to interact with "C-Level" audience in a client or prospect organization

  • Strong math skills and an analytical approach to problem solving

  • Experience with and ability to interpret of financial models; Microsoft Excel proficiency

  • Thoroughness, persistence and a desire to get to the root-cause of problems

  • Willingness to travel occasionally

  • Availability after hours and weekends, on occasion

This is a key role in our People, Performance & Culture Team as the Sr. HRBP Leads PPC processes for strategic business issues including identification of key talent, development of high potential employees and coaching to maximize productivity. As a Senior HRBP, you'll align PPC programs with business strategies and relevant employment laws and regulations for our Commercial business. You'll work with leaders in our Sales division to effectively design their organization and optimize talent. A large component of the role includes advising, coaching, and supporting leaders to maximize employee and business performance. You'll accomplish this by ensuring our Sales leaders are engaging and developing talent while fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration. Duties & Responsibilities: * Identify needs, develop solutions - engaging PPC Center of Expertise (CoE) teams as appropriate - and implement plans in support of key business needs in a dynamic and changing environment * Influence enterprise PPC program design (performance management, compensation planning, engagement strategies, and key talent processes such as talent reviews and succession planning, etc.) and lead the implementation of these programs with business leaders and PPC CoE leaders * Consult with Sales leadership to ensure alignment of performance management with pay-for-performance recommendations and reward and recognition programs * Act as advocate and advisor to employees and leaders regarding career and leadership development * Manage complex ER matters, including performance management, terminations, restructuring, accommodation requests, workplace drug/alcohol/violence matters, conflict resolution, etc. * Work with Employee Relations and legal counsel to ensure compliance with applicable Canadian/US federal, state/provincial and local employment laws and regulations * Develop and implement comprehensive staffing plans for the organization and proactively partner with the Talent Acquisition team on strategies to attract top talent * Lead PPC projects and support integration activities and other M&A related responsibilities Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Business, HR, or a related discipline * 10+ years relevant experience in Human Resources, including experience in organization design, talent assessment and development, leadership coaching, change management, recruitment, job and compensation program design, employee relations, and managing complex/sensitive workplace investigations * 3+ years supporting executive level leaders in a human resources capacity * Strong working knowledge of US federal and state employment laws and regulations and the ability to appropriately identify employment/labor law issues. * Demonstrated judgment and decision-making skills, especially in situations that are sensitive, complex and/or ambiguous * Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, and the ability to educate, influence and indirectly lead a large range of individuals across multiple HR and business functions * Proven success establishing collaborative relationships with individuals at all levels and in all parts of the organization * Demonstrated ability to drive the HR strategic agenda using knowledge of the organization and its employee * Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skill * Change agent and role model for leading cultural change * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze data, understand trends and develop recommendations for action * Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
