How You'll Make an Impact:

• Collaborating with the department Executive Committee to understand technology needs

• Offering innovative solutions to support department and firm-wide strategic goals

• Assisting department Executive Committee with the definition and implementation of policies, procedures, best practices, and guidelines for technology utilization

• Managing department specific software, license utilization, contacts, and contracts with technology vendors

• Serving as project manager for department technology application requirements, configurations, updates, and implementations

• Serving as the department representative to facilitate the initiation and completion of project service requests with IT department representatives

• Serving as a liaison between the department and IT to achieve firm and department goals

• Serving as the product owner for department specific software and technologies

• Providing subject matter expertise to support the software use and incident resolutions, including major issues

• Working with the training department to provide solutions to increase knowledge of department technologies, including developing and facilitating training programs

• Collaborating with other department specific business analysts

• Coordinating user groups and committees to gather information and support carrying out responsibilities of the role

• Developing technology budget for the department

• Actively supporting the business combination process from due diligence consulting through implementation of all related applications and the associated data, including onboarding and training of incoming department associates

• Committee Membership

• iSTAC - Information Systems & Technology Advisory Committee

• Innovation and Change Management team meetings

• Business Combination Team

• Other department specific committees related to strategic initiatives, technology, policies and procedures, and risk management/quality control

• Internal Management

• Managing associates (direct reports) and/or working groups

• Strategic identification of software for client service

• Developing strategies and continued maintenance for firm and client data

• Managing subpoena requests, including securing data and providing requested documents

• Assisting with addressing risk management issues

• Technology and Applications

• Providing guidance to leadership and associates regarding software use

• Leading overall software management, including release updates, communication, training, support, documentation, and procedure development

• Application inventory management

• Vendor Relationship Management, including holding vendors accountable when issues arise

• Reviewing new products, including demos/trials, approval requests and implementation

• Business Combinations

• Partnering with business combination team to establish protocols, develop relationships and build trust with combining firm

• Managing all aspects of integration to Rehmann, including software applications, data management, policies and procedures and issue resolution

Your Desired Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

• Bachelor's Degree in accounting or related field

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred

• Manager and above level responsibilities within a similar organization

• Experience with software and cloud-based applications used in Client Advisory Services (CAS), including accounting, bill pay, payroll, workflow

• Practical experience working in an accounting and advisory practice, demonstrating a strong understanding of client needs and effective service delivery

• Experience with tax or assurance practice is a plus as the need to understand the correlations is essential

• A solid foundation in accounting principles and financial reporting

• Working knowledge of data analytic software

• Ability to prioritize work and manage time, including identifying opportunities to improve efficiencies

• Proven experience in taking on leadership roles for department and/or firm-wide projects

• Ability to manage projects effectively, including budgets and timelines

• Proven ability to conceptualize, design, and deliver client, internal, and external presentations

• Ability to clearly communicate technical information to a non-technical audience

• Ability to speak and provide training in public/group situations

• Confidence in working with associates at all levels within the organization
