Our in-depth expertise in security engineering at the operating system level enables us to help government and commercial customers meet ever-evolving cyber security threats.Job Summary:Due to continued growth, Owl is hiring a Strategic Business Analyst. The Strategic Business Analyst will take direction from, and partner with senior leaders to rapidly generate actionable insights and recommendations that lead to business decisions. Day-to-day, the analyst can expect to develop ad-hoc business models, dashboards, business KPIs, and provide verbal and written strategic business recommendations.Intellectually curious and adaptable individuals, with a passion for strategy, and making a difference are invited to apply.This role is offered remotely within Eastern and Central time zones.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Analyze financial and operational data to assess the performance of Owl’s business segments, offerings, and products.
Develop business and financial models and deliver data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making.
Collaborate and team with cross-functional leaders to identify, evaluate, and execute potential growth and business improvement opportunities.
Develop and present strategic recommendations to senior management.
Implement, monitor, and report on the progress of strategic initiatives.
Develop corporate board level analysis, strategy development, and reporting.
May support, influence, and lead corporate data transformation projects to improve data accessibility for business leaders.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Education
- Bachelor’s degree, in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Operations Research, Data Science, or a related field.
- Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is a plus.
Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in strategy, management consulting, data analytics, operations research, or a related role.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable insights.
- Intellectual curiosity and adaptability.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Comfort with ambiguity.
- Expertise with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with data-warehousing and data-visualization solutions (e.g., PowerBI, PowerQuery/PowerPivot, Tableau, Qlik, SQL database, etc.)
- Excellent quantitative and financial modeling skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Familiarity with AI tools is a plus (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, etc.)
Additional Competencies/Requirements
- Dues to Owl's Government contracts, U.S. Citizenship is required
