Strategic Clinical AccountManager

As a leading global manufacturer and supplier of scientific solutionsin the clinical and life sciences laboratory market, we are looking for aself-motivated, enthusiastic and dependable sales person to join our team as a Strategic Clinical Account Manager.With over 40 years of experience in providing unique and innovative solutions,Enzo is well positioned to help support diagnostic labs with the challengesthey face today.

Reporting tothe Director of Sales the candidate will:

  • Beresponsible for the development of new and existing customer accounts for both

Clinical Lab Services and Products, in both Clinical, Hospital and PhysicianOwned Labs.

  • Establishand develop productive, professional relationships with key personnel inassigned territory, and leverage these relationships to develop sales growthobjectives and strategic initiatives.

  • Prepare andpresent at industry conferences, trade shows and customer meetings.

  • Participatein joint planning and reporting processes with the Strategic Leadership Team todevelop and attain performance objectives, financial targets, and criticalmilestones.

  • Monitor andcommunicate on clinical lab industry developments, i.e. competitors, new technology,new test offerings, etc.

  • Collaboratewith Marketing team to build campaigns, generate leads and target messaging forkey strategic initiatives.

  • Assist and cooperatewith Territory Account Managers, Product Managers and Sales Support team, asnecessary, to develop key clinical accounts in the territory.


  • A Bachelor's degree required (PhD or M.S. preferred)

  • A sales background (min. 5 years) in the clinical and diagnostic labfield, with experience selling in small to mid-size clinical labs and/or largeclinical reference lab accounts.

  • Experience with Sales of Molecular Diagnostics, Anatomic Pathologyand/or Genomics is a plus.

  • Working from NY office or remote.

  • 50-60% travel in US, primarily East Coast.

  • Valid Driver's Licence is required.


  • A motivated, goal-orientated individual who can workeffectively, both independently and as part of a team.

  • A professional outward appearance and attitude, withsuperior oral/written communication skills, including strong negotiationskills.

  • Strong interest in cell/molecular biology, withknowledge of drug discovery and development processes and platforms.

  • Proven ability to manage time effectively, respondquickly to changing priorities, and adapt within a fast-paced environment.

  • Possess problem-solving and analytical skills, withstrong computer proficiency.

Responsibilities The Director, HVAC Installation will be responsible for leading and delivering revenue goals within the HVAC business while delivering on our commitment to an exceptional installation customer experience. The role is responsible for developing staff, processes, systems, tools, dashboards and metrics, business planning, initiatives and programs that will optimize sales and installation and provide the discipline for increases in sales force and installer productivity. Position Responsibilities:Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following key areas: Growth and Customer Focus: * Supporting the Depot GM's and Directors responsible for overall sales and installation excellence performance * Support and drive relationships with distribution partners and supply houses * Strong interaction with Marketing and other functions in the organization to leverage full scope of organizational capabilities to deliver an outstanding sales and installation experience to customers * Active participation and joint ownership of new product development and roadmap/ portfolio discussions to provide customer/ industry perspective and voice of sales to organization Leadership: * Facilitates training and ensures support resources are in place to develop salespersons capable of selling the full scope of offerings available. * Builds and fosters a team environment within and across depots. Solicits support from and communicates effectively with internal staff. Operational Excellence: * Own sales and installation performance metrics and dashboards for monthly operating review * Drive increased proficiency with HVAC applications/ tools across the sales teams * Through the deployment of an effective management systems, drive accountability with the GM's regarding sales & installation results Strategy & Planning: * Development and execution of multi-year sales strategy to meet business objectives * Ensuring sales & install model implementation with clear roles & responsibilities throughout HVAC depots * Highly engaged leadership role in business reviews, cross functional meetings to drive business objectives, e.g. monthly operating reviews, sales & operations planning, etc. * Understanding of how market dynamics and industry trends may affect business needs * Key contributor to annual financial plan and 5-year strategic planning process * With GM's/ Directors, manages the sales staffing plan for each depot. Work with HR and Talent Acquisition team to recruit, hire, and retain sales and sales support staff to plan. Performance Management: * Manage annual sales quota process, aligned with business operating plans * Revenue Performance: Support GM's/ Directors in delivering monthly, quarterly and annual revenues by depot and by HVAC business * Drive process excellence and productivity across the HVAC depots * Determine key performance indicators for HVAC sales & installation processes to drive process improvement * Drive pipeline management and forecasting support Qualifications * Five to eight years of progressive sales and operational leadership experience in HVAC * Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in experience * Experience deploying strong sales operations capabilities and installation strategies across an HVAC organization * Exceptional collaboration skills and ability to influence peers and team members outside reporting line. * Strong planning, problem solving, project management, negotiation and decision making skills * Highly organized and process focused, able to clearly prioritize and effectively manage multiple tasks and projects and implement sustainable processes * Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present, influence and manage stakeholder interests at all levels of management and staff across the HVAC depots * Experience in using CRM tools and managing sales processes using CRM tools * Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel & PowerPoint * The job requires up to 60% travel.
