The Strategic Account Representative role will support tactical and strategic initiatives for Strategic accounts. It works closely with the Strategic Account Manager to ensure customer success and business growth. High-level responsibilities include supporting Strategic Account Manager's account plan initiatives, customer issue resolution, multi-site enhancements, and change requests. It is also responsible for managing multiple accounts. Customer satisfaction is the primary objective for this role.

Job Responsibilities

  • Understand customers' business, sites, pain points, and areas to grow.

  • Become customers' advocate within Bastian Solutions.

  • Become customers' trusted advisor for issue resolution and coordination for tactical project execution.

  • Coordinate customer requests for multi-site enhancements. Ensure priority & consistency within Bastian Solutions.

  • Coordinate & prioritize issue resolution as necessary.

  • Prioritize customer change order requests, following guidance from Strategic Account Manager.

  • Advise and coordinate ongoing customer training.

  • Support customer and internal feedback surveys.

  • Working with Strategic Account Manager, track and coordinate sales opportunities across internal sales teams - SAE's, FAE's, Robotics, Software, Consulting, Applications, etc. Ensure priority and timely action to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Business related travel to company and customer sites: 25%.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of customer facing experience.

  • Preferred Degrees: Engineering, Project Management, & Operations Management.

  • An understanding of automated material handling design considerations.

  • Strong technical writing skills to clearly communicate analysis assumptions and results.

  • Ability to collaborate within a team environment both in-person and virtual.

  • Outstanding listening, written and verbal communications skills.

  • Disciplined and organized.

  • Consistently provide excellent customer service.
